Default the worst pro franchise in sports

i was thinking about this today, and came up with 3 teams that would be prime canidates for this honor. but, the one that just kept jumping out to me was the AZ. cardnails.

this team has done absolutely nothing since the mid 70's. even back then, i'm still am amazed how Don Coryall did so much with so little talent.

Thats a solid selection BBD. They never win especially when they
are expected to. They have a vibe about them to where they could
to any team any week. I do not like the Toronto Raptors. They
have players that wish they we're on other teams always.

Colorado Rockies are the only team I can think of who has never reached the postseason, not counting Charlotte Bobcats and Houston Texans who are much newer.

Even though we have a good team right now the Wizards are a terribly run franchise, other than sign Gilbert Arenas they have made so many terrible personnel moves. They kept trading young big guys for old little guys, look how good the Pistons are, we traded away three of those guys and passed on Tayshaun Prince in the draft for Jared Jeffries. And I just have a feeling that despite how bad he has looked that next year Kwame Brown will be the most improved player and turn out to be another bad trade.

My worst list is Arizona Cardinals, I believe Detroit Lions have the worst record the last 30 years, I believe they only had 8 winning seasons. I am not sold on the Clippers they were the worst of the worst until this year. Detroit Tigers of the 90's andto the current are pretty pathetic didn't they lose 120 games in one year?

How about the Saints? Have they ever won a playoff game?! At least the Cards won a playoff game with Plummer a few years back.

They made the postaseason I think in their 4th year of existence but got swept by ATL that year. At the time, I think it was the fastest for any expansion team to reach the playoffs.

i'm suprised nobody mentioned the cleveland browns yet.

this team hasn't done anything sense the late 80's. even back then john elway ripped there hearts out.

the only thing really debatable about this team is, the moving to baltimore stuff.

Detroit Lions franchise is really bad....however, they sell out, have a new stadium, and have a pretty strong fan base somehow.

I don't think it can be an NFL franchise, because any one of them is worth a fortune if the owner(s) tried to sell. Hockey is the sport that can't even make money, so has to be some team that is losing money like crazy, in a shit facility, and losing games too, right? I don't follow it enough to know.

We really should go league by league:

    NFL: Saints, Cards, Lions, Texans.
MLB: Brewers, Expos, Rangers, Devil Rays.
    NBA: Clippers, Warriors, Nuggets, Wizards.
NHL: Caps, Sabres, Blackhawks, [entire NHL?]. (Sorry, I don't care for Hockey at all.)

slacker, the D'rays were the 3rd team i had in my top 3.

even though this team has it really tough in the division they play in. the D'rays organization is just so bad in regards to upper management it's sick.

The Brewers should not be on that list at all...they have a brand new stadium, they had remarkable attendance last year (among the best in MLB), they have new ownership, they were .500 team last year and look to be better than that, they have a very smart and die hard fan base, they have stud players in Rickie Weeks, JJ Hardy, and stud pitchers in Ben Sheets and Chris Capuano...now way in the world MIL should be on that list

I would say the Brewers are a year or two away from post season play.....

Chicago Blackhawks and owner Bill Wirtz. It's bad when the minor league club out draws the pro club, enough said.
