Default Anyone tried south beach diet?

I started phase 1 a couple days ago. I had a hard time sleeping last night and I feel nauseous, lethargic, and pretty much feel like shit. Anyone tried this diet and did you have the same reaction. The first 2 week phase is brutal and I feel so bad I actually feel like crying no joke.

I've checked into it. The problem with the diet is it has short term results... Here is my view/analogy comparison of the diet...

your body will lose weight you will burn stored fat/carbs. When you come off of the diet, you have to do it just right or you will have problems. The problems are basically the follow example.

Your body is use to burning fat/stored carbs/calories etc... When you break the diet, your body has gone so long without many carbs that it immediately doesn't use them instead it stores them. So your body is like a fiend for these carbs for storage, because its so use to not getting it. I was told that depending on how long you've been on the diet it can take 3 months to take yourself off of it... because you have to do it in very small steps...

So basically you burn carbs, then your body tries to immediately restock them again... aka you gain weight back...

Pic, if you wanna lose fat lift heavy, consume at least 1 g of protein per lb of muscle mass, cut cals 10% below maintenance (adjusting accordingly as you drop weight) and do some HIIT.

Same method I used to cut about 55 lbs off a year ago...I am doing the same right now since I didn't do any workouts the couple of months I was down for knee surgery...gained 12 pounds in that time.

12 pounds is easy to take off. Keep up that HIIT and heavy lifting and cut cals by 10% so you don't sac too much muscle mass.

Just stick to meth and nose candy. The fat will melt away.

I started in October of 2006, have lost 53 pounds and have kept it off. It's the easiest diet you'll ever try, just get past phase 1 and you'll be fine. It will also do wonders for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, etc.

If you wanna PM me to talk about it, do it anytime.
