As far as full albums go I would have to say **-Tang Clan - Enter the **-Tang (36 Chambers). I love the song Regulate by Warren G but I think the rest of the album was mediocre at best. Another one that could be on here would be either of the first 2 DMX albums.

Best hip hop album is Dr. Dre..The Chronic. It was fire in '92 and is still my all time favorite.

Was going to mention this album as well. I couldn't wait for this album to drop. Went the minute the stores opened up and picked up the cd.

Yo though if I decide I want to do it, the next classic joint for the generation will be some HG sh*t.

Illmatic by NAS is probably my absolute favorite hip-hop album ever. Most recent would probably be Ghostface Killah's "Fishscale".

The question was "Last" Though. There hasn't been one in a while. Get Rich was a great album and this is coming from someone that hates 50. Big Doe Rehab from Ghost is REALLY GOOD. Not classic though. HNIC Prodigy,Roots Things fall Apart. I don't know tough question.

I'm not a fan of Illmatic. To this day I don't understand why that is considered the best album of all time. I liked maybe three tracks on there and I hated the overall production.

Also there were only 9 songs on that piece.

Illmatic is great bro. Blueprint is on the same level.
I was listening to "One Love" today on my MP3 and was thinking how good this song was and how creative that his letter is being read in song format. Way before "Stan" and a 100X better. Nas was 19 when he wrote and recorded that album. Sick.

The beauty of Illmatic is the raw nature of it. The production being so stripped down is just one of many reasons why that album is considered a masterpiece by so many. Like the Velvet Underground & Nico is to classic rock in a weird way...

Don't get me wrong, I like most of Nas' stuff, but Illmatic was just pure street-hop. No glitz, no glamour, no fancy production... Just a raw look at Queensbridge from a very talented teen.
