    Default Long First, Long Second

this will be an NFL first.

NBCSports.com's Tom Curran reports the Dolphins are nearing a contract agreement with Michigan OT Jake Long.
The deal would make Long the No. 1 overall pick. The Dolphins began talks with Long's agent, Tom Condon, two weeks ago and never engaged in serious deliberations with any other player. Curran writes that with Long off the board, St. Louis is "a lock" to use the No. 2 pick on a defensive player. UVA DE Chris Long is reportedly "very confident" he'll be the Rams' choice.

I don't think there's a smoke screen here. Jake Long should be the #1 pick. I also think Chris Long is #2. As for #'s 3-5 though...I think it all depends on what Atlanta does. They may choose to go with Matt Ryan & get that franchise QB or they may decide to pick up Ghoulston or Dorsey. The Raiders should pick up whichever one of those two guys doesn't fall (Dorsey would be the guy if both fell) and KC would take Ghoulston if available or try to trade down if not available. Sedrick Ellis is also a possibility for KC but like Brandon Albert, Ryan Clady, and a few others he might be a bit of a reach.

Whatever KC does I hope they don't take Ryan or McFadden.

perhaps we'll reconsider since you're the only one here who speaks fish and can translate our fades for us.

    consider it a stern warning.
