Yes I watched it, and the low blows didn't look that bad. Hopkins used them to his advantage. He caught his breath on that one that action was stopped, and actually rallied in the round afterwards.

It was a dull fight, and didn't impress me much from either side.

Boring fight, I thought Calzaghe won a close decision. Hopkins did not do much after the first 3 rounds. It seemed like he would try to steal a round with one big punch. Low blow looked like a tap to me, he has a cup on and no way did that hurt.

Hopkins tends to make other fighters look ugly and a lot of his fights lack excitement because of that. Instead of trying to impose his gameplan his gameplan is to take the other fighter out of theirs.
