Default best pitcher in baseball so far

As some of you know I am a huge mets fan and would love to say Santana. Some might say Hammels, but damn Ben Sheets is a rocket right now. Bet on him now before he gets hurt as usual

Months ago I predicted Sheets would have an outstanding year. Sure he pitches for my team but its a contract year for him. The Brewers have a confidence level throughout the clubhouse that resignates to all players that I have not seen in 20+ years. Have to remember most of these young players were together for at least 2 years in the minors.

Sheets will pitch through the blisters and the sore hammy this year. Always has been a 2 pitch guy but has added a change up. Very intense performer. Has the experience to truely be in the top 2 or 3 pichers in the NL this year.

When it's the big game on the line in the playoffs give me Beckett. He's proven himself in the big games.
