I honor the time out of respect for friends of mine. I wasn't aware it was on the horizen till I saw this Thread. May it be a time for reflection and regeneration for those observing this long time holiday.

well, sure, on any given day you'll probably here more prayers in a LV sportsbook than in most churches.

But most gamblers are pretty liberal socially to begin with. Plus most religions are very hostile toward gamblers. I don't even waste my time with religion. Not even worth it....

Just more of a clarification on Passover. As you stated not a Catholic holiday per say, however it should be a time of reflection for any religion that uses the Old Testament, Torah, Koran, or has Israelites in part of their scriptures even if they do not honor the time specifically. Passover is for the remembrance of deliverance of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt; A time when Israelites were set free from bondage. The name itself comes from when the Angel of Death passed over those with blood on their door and killed the firstborn sons in Egypt.
