Default Wizards the series play vs. Cavs?

The Wiz might be +200 dogs later today but IMO anything better than +150 is a good buy. The Cavs are overrated because the Pistons collapsed last year. The Cavs have a whole new team that isn't better. I can see them using the "time to gel" excuse. Where would the Wiz be with Arenas earlier in the year?

The Cavs are absolute shit. The cavs without Lebron would get stomped by the phucken Heat.

I agree with you about the merits of the teams, but I think the linemaker will share our evaluation and make the series around -130. We'll see.

I'm also curious to see the Utah-Houston price as that seems a coin-flip and I'm hoping they make Houston around 8-5.

If "KING (BLING) JAMES" learns how to shoot a FT this bet may be in trouble.

    If not you're probably OK.

3 all stars on one team seems decent. blatche, young, stevenson, heywood and daniels are also decent players.

Well we were on the right side of that one...
    09:35 AM 101 Wizards -102
    102 Cavaliers -108

Anyone who doesn't still like the pick has a nice scalp!

Yeah exactly...MJF already stated the the Wiz won't even win a game. Apparently he has not watched them play when they were without Arenas or Butler. Add those 2 in and they have some serious potential.

My point exactly...anyone who watched them this year without either in the line-up realizes how solid this team can be...all heart.

I respectfully disagree sir. In fact I hit it as soon as the line was posted this morning, however I scalped it out about 2 hours ago.

well maybe not easily like a sweep but i see the cavs taking it in 6. The Wizards are known to choke and in addition Lebron has sort of a psychological advantage over Arenas. The time Lebron wispered into Arenas' ear before he shot the two free throws in the playoffs and Arenas missed them both costing the Wiz the game and the series. Great price on the Cavs now.

Wizards are value at -250 or better even. I would fully expect a Washington sweep if David Stern were removed as commish of this "professional" league.

Wizards will have to play at an unreal level to win this series if the obstacles are put into place against them and I fully expect that they will be. After all, the American public needs to be force fed King James for the 3 month long joke better known as the NBA playoffs. Wouldn't be surprised to see Stern trot out Donaghy if things start looking murky for the Cavs.

I actually am very confident Cavs will take the series, and the first game at -2! They have a great home crowd, lebron can really pull off big against multiple starts, and you cant say they have a worse team. I think it was all adjustment that messed them up at the beginning.

They still have Verajo, Big Z, even gibson to pull up shoot.

NOW BEN WALLACE for REBOUNDS hes washed up on offense but is better now on defense than with bulls,

DELONTE WEST who can really run the point and hit big shots, and so on.

I got some Suns on me at +160 from The Prick. I would have taken more at +150. That one dropped quick to. That's it for series goodies.

man for man, the cavs don't really stack up with a healthy wizards team.

I would agree with that statement Mofo. I personally feel that trade the Cavs made with the Bulls at the trade deadline hurt them more than helped them.

wizards never had a chance they always choke, they now lost to the cavs 3 years in a row in the playoffs. they'll never win with arenas aka the team cancer, he's too busy doing commercials. books made alot of money on the series plays thats for sure.

That's the trend so far huh? Shaq? Kidd? If the Cavs can't somehow beat the Celts, we probably have seen the end of the veteran trade deadline deals. Any GM who tries it after seeing these examples will be putting his job on the line.

Gasol seems to be working out nicely.

Shaq and Kidd are over the hill. Its rediculous to trade for somebody 35 years old and expect them to turn your team around. The Suns were in first place in the west when they traded. Why would they break up the chemistry they had tried to build for so many years? The Mavs needed inside scoring. Instead they traded for a position they were already solid at and got a 36 year old player?!?!?!?!?!

Every condending team needs an inside scorer. We have the Jazz and Boozer, Lakers and Gasol (possibly Bynum too), Celtics and Garnett, Spurs and Duncan, Hornets and West/Chandler, Pistons and Wallace, Orlando and Howard. Somebody to get an easy two inside when you are struggling outside.

Even though the Shaq deal hurt the Suns, they still were even with the Spurs. Remember, it took 4 miracles for the Spurs to win game 1 of the series with the Suns. The Suns also choked down the stretch, giving up big leads in games 1, 2, 3, and 5 if my memory servs correct. The hack-a-shack didn't work. He stepped up and hit his free throws when they hacked him. That series was 4-1 but could have just as easily been 4-1 Suns winning. I think if they had kept Marion they would have advanced. Its sad but true. I dont think the Spurs are as good as they have been in the past because of age.
