    Default Las Palmas Sportsbook

I just wanted everyone to know that this book is an A+.

I was one of the winners of the NCAA tournament pool. It was only $150.00 but now it is up to $650.00. The customer service is great and they are very helpful.

I have met the 5x rollover requirement but I am not going to withdrawal yet. I like having this book as an out. Their lines are fair and the early release of futures is always a plus.

I will keep everyone updated if and when I decide to withdrawal any money.

Again thanks for running the contest and if anyone else who won money from the pool let us know how your are doing and experience with this book.

They closed my account years ago, and keep spamming me about my rebate, despite not playing there anytime recently. They refuse to stop spamming me, even though I've emailed them quite a few times.

It might be a good book, but the CS is poor.

I am just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I have read story after story here about how a free bonus has turned into a nightmare. I am just hoping that I actually get paid if I continue to win.

The only insurance I have is that SBR let them sponor a contest here so if they don't pay SBR will make them.

My CS experience so far has been all positive, they even told me when I met the rollover requirement. Thanks for the feedback.

My limits have been steadily declining. I find this pretty shocking since I'm punting deposit after deposit.

What were your limits and what are they now? If you don't mind.

I was collared to $25 limits after 4 bets at Las Palmas ($500 each). eHorseX looks promising. If they'd give me the option to see American style odds, I'd probably give them a try.

The liquidity sucks there IMO, but they due pay fast without making you jump through a lot of hoops.

You accuse them of poor CS just because you are still in their email list? Well, if that is the case then every sportsbook out there has poor CS. I get email from lots of them all the time. That doesn't mean anything. The CS department doesn't manage the emails lists.

eHorse has a good reputation. Las Palmas are the same owners.

There is a preference you can set to see American style odds.

Yeah right. Another crybaby on SBR who is crying because a book didn't say "how high sir" when he said jump.

Las Palmas and eHorse do not have bad CS, I don't care what these crybabies on here say.

Can you hook a brother up with some additional information on that? I searched around their site for a while and all I could find was a table showing conversions between +400 and -400.

I dont have an account there anymore. Perhaps I am remembering it wrong. I used to play the horses there. I thought you could change the odds display.

I'm on nickels and was originally. My MLB 1H are dropping steadily 500-300-200. Isn't Las Palmas a book that accepts pro action?

    Maybe I'm mistaken.

I believe they are more of a recreational type book actually. After all our very own moderator Justin was shown the door. I mean if your there because you received a nice bonus, I would actually go as far as saying that you may have some concern.

They are really nothing special to write home about. Their lines are nothing special, however you can use your login info to login to ehorseX. But the volume really is bad. The one thing I will say is that they will pay you promptly though, and currently have no complaints or processing issues at this time.

I don't know what they have now, but their parlay cards at parlaycardz.com were easy money. Stale lines, just write me a check (if you have patience to deal with all the crap).

    BBD,

Its a very basic bonus. Mostly just another out with vanilla lines.

Requested a payment for about $500. They told me it would take 21 business days to get my check.

21 Days??? Standard mail?? WTF. LP is usually fster than that when I played there.

How long ago was that? I'm sure people don't just close players' accounts for the hell of it..Might have been under different management; looks to me like they're making an effort to get better..

Was it the 21 days for processing or was it the 30 day hold on deposits with bonuses?

At first they offered me ** but then said they couldn't do ** because of the "nature of the winnings." Remember this money was won from the $150.00 I won in the NCAA pool. I am assuming that 21 business days is to process the check and the time it gets to my door.

If I get this check I have no problems continuing to play there. I didn't want to get it up over $1000 and have a problem.

I first tried to withdrawal over the internet and it wasn't working, they said that internet withdrawals aren't possible right now.

This book is perfect for small rec bettors that are looking to build their accounts over time. I would not recommend this book to large bettors.

Actually I didn't realize it was contest winnings sir, congrats

I didn't realize that they had a 21 day hold rule on contest winnings, however I did know about the 30 day hold rule on deposits. Although, I'd be more than happy to wait 21 days for a free $483.

Maybe the Original poster shouldn't call a book A+ before he gets the cash in his hand.

That's pretty annoying. I didn't say anything 2 days ago when I saw him call it an A+ book even though he had no idea how the withdrawl process would go. That's the most significant part...

So sportsbook rank = payout speed ? I've seen quite a few posts that suggest that thats how bettors basically rank shops..Am I wrong in saying that ?

  30. #30

    MoV,

Its kinda important, but there are a ton of other factors that SBR takes into consideration. But payout speed is kinda the canary in the coal mine so to speak. When books stop paying people, you likely have a much bigger problem going on.

  31. #31

I agree that the speed is important, but what is more important than speed to me is that they pay according to how they say they will pay. Many of even the top rated books (like Cris) will hold on to your money an extra day or so while they put you through the email grist mill.

Yes, you know you are gonna get paid--but time is money and when they don't follow through it is costing the big player money.
