I volunteer with an animal adoption group and some of the dogs we get, well, you'd be shocked to know how badly they have been treated. But, they are the most forgiving animal there is - kind an loyal and loving to the very end, regardless of how you treat them. You had a bad experience and I'm really sorry to hear about it. I have three dogs and the only bad thing they've ever done is lick people in the face too much!
