Its not just the quality of teams. I am going mainly on fan support, overall excitement the city has for their sports, and then of course the teams themselves

Wow, that isn't a biased statement.

Chicago, is an awful sports city.
They had their glory during the Jordan years. Its over.

    Cubs suck
    White Sox suck
    Bears suck
    Blackhawks suck
    Bulls suck
    Northwestern Sucks
    UIC sucks
    Loyola Chicago sucks

Not to mention, Chicago ranks as the #1 dirtiest city in the USA by Reader's Digest 2004.

100 years 5 star bomb. 100 ****in years.

Skins fans are nutso, but the rest of the teams not so much.

small area to have 2 teams in, but real skins fans can be found over a greater area than fans of any other team because they used to really be the team from Washington down through the Carolinas. ravens fans are nuts as well, but i hate those purple dickbags.

Detroit is huge. I was at the Tigers game today. 30k there and they are 4-10. Get outta here pal. Lions sell out every game, Detroit is Hockey Town and the Pistons have sold out over 200 in a row. Get outta here with your shit.

See i come from a place where college football is everything... 200 sell outs in a row is nothing...

And come on man... The Lions? I dont care if they sell out every game or not there is no excuse for starting off what... 6-2? and losing all the rest of your games... damn!

How does STL not get in the list at all....unlike most places we actually root for good plays on either team and enjoy the games. Most of the cities listed are miserable pressure and big spending while St Louis is always fighting for the little guy and usually does a decent job winning.

Hell in Phillie they throw batteries at people.

Cubs fan arguably most passionate than any other team in any sport. Bleed cub blue thru thick and thin. Chicago is nuts about all of their sports teams. After the Jordan era the Bulls were absolutely horrible year after year yet we still were near the top in NBA attendance. Bears fans, were crazy.

Does Alabama get to claim another National Championship for having 200 sellouts in a row?

That wouldn't be the most absurd one they've claimed.

Alabama thinks they have about 30 national championships, when in reality, only 6 or 7 are actually recognized by the media.

Baseball is definately the biggest sport no question, but the Blues usually get decent support ( the last few years have been a miserable transition in ownership with the sell off of all the players ) Football is decent, but the one lacking thing is bball. We are a college bball town and a pro team would never survive here. SLU does quite well as a result.

No, the White Sox are not good.
The Cubs are the tallest of midgets in the NL central, but even with that enormous payroll, they will not win the division again.
