    Absolutely nothing wrong with gambling.

Just gamble within your means and you will have no problems.

the worst thing that can happen to someone who gambles is winning.

Well, I see what your trying to say, but to those who are professional sports bettors and do this for a living, well I would think winning is a good thing.

Gambling is like anything else. If you chose to do it there is be a price to pay.
For many when the cost of this activity becomes to great it is time to let go. Make no bones about it gamlbing is a vice. Out of control it is a very destructive vice. Most can't stop on their own. Some can.
Personally , Gambling is my my own prefered vice. I've tried all the others at one point or another. At least with this one you have a shot to win in the short term.
I limit myself to one vice. For me two or more at one time is begging for trouble.
As for sports betting I'm basically done till football. I have baseball futures to hold my interest. My motto towards sports betting is "be careful , sports betting can get you in big trouble"
As for stopping gambling, I'm gambling everyday when I get in my car and drive to work. Its the risk/reward ratio I look at when I view my options and decide whether I'm willing to pay the price.
