I think he should have been fired already. Factor in how they fell apart the second half of last season and how long it's taking them to get something going this year, I wouldn't give him much of a break.

If they don't win some games going into Sunday, CAN HIM!!

Naw... Leland's a good manager. The team has problems that are beyond his control: Miggy's playing hurt, Zumaya's on the DL, Kenny's too old to be effective, Nate just sucks, etc. Plus, they're letting the media's hype get to them. The keys to that 2006 season were good health and great team chemistry.

They are only 5 back in the Central. And look whos leading it, the Royals and White Sox. They should be fine, if not, Can him at the end of the season.
