5Dimes check bounced, anyone else have the issue?
Nothing like putting the check in the ATM, showing up as deposited and finding out days later it bounced, getting fees for that and fees have been occuring on every transaction I have performed. Guess I should leave these deposits in my checking account until I'm sure there cleared instead of moving into savings.
Anyone else having issues with 5dimes check payouts?

This is the first I've read about a 5Dimes check bouncing. It sounds like this could be a processing issue of some type.
Have you called them yet to find out what happen?

Usually a good idea to make sure a check is good before spending it.

Thanks for your smart ass comment, if by spending it you mean moving to the an account with a better interest rate, your correct.
I had never had an issue with a 5dimes check before so I had no issue moving it 4 days after it was deposited. Im sure its a processing issue but nevertheless just provides me with headaches trying to recover the money as I wonder where the check is in bank la la land.
5Dimes has credited me with bounced fees just a matter of finding this check ( I guess it gets sent back to me from my bank) to try to deposit again according to customer service.

no offense, but I'm tired of books having a processor problem and sending back checks to people. This seems to be a pretty big problem with alot of books. Not usually 5 dimes though.
I if it shows up deposited, you guys realize the bank has up to 20 days before they find out if the check/deposit is returned unpaid.
How is 5 dimes reimbursing you for the overdraft charges?

Not a smart ass comment but common sense. And why so many transactions in your savings account .

The 5Dimes check was deposited to my checking account, which I transfered electronically a few days later to savings - which left me short in checking when it "bounced". Guess I should leave it in there a couple weeks in the future. I get it, you know all.
They reinbursed me in 5dimes. They gave me both the bounced check fee and overdraft fee from that day (imo beyond the call of what they HAD to do). So as long as I can get this checks funds somehow in the end I cant really be that upset.
It's just a different time we are living in as far as online gambling goes. I get tired of the processing issues too, but lets be serious these payment processors aren't supposed to be able to do some of the things they are doing. I guess this is just a part of doing this under current circumstances.

I had a check bounce Thursday from a different book, this one an A+ book. I requested it on Thursday evening, received it Monday through courier, and deposited it Monday afternoon into my regular checking account. It showed cleared a couple days later, then on Thursday they took the money out of my account and it showed as "deposited item returned". So I called the bank they said it will take 3-5 business days to get back to me. I assume they are mailing it back to me.
Not sure what will happen. I read on another forum that somebody else just had a check bounce from an A+ book. Maybe there is a bunch of bad checks going around, I dont know. I'm hoping that because it is an A+ book I will get my money soon.
I have contacted customer service at the book but have to wait to speak with a supervisor who will be there soon.

If you are referring to TheGreek, then you would be the second person I've heard that ran into this problem during the week.

I don't see what you did as anything incorrect, 5dimes isn't one to usually have payment issues with checks bouncing. I too don't like to leave a ton in my checking, might as well put the money in savings and earn some interest.

I've gotten 2 emails from Matchbook asking for confirmation that I deposited and was paid for past checks b/c the account the checks were drawn on is closed and if not let me know and they will reimburse fees and reissue me a new check. My advice DEPOSIT ASAP and then wait 10 business days for check to clear when receiving a check from a sportsbook before considering those funds "real money" in your checking account as the current processing problems are out of this world bad, every check processor has to close account and open new accounts to stay in business every couple of months lately.

Superbook gave me the same story last month. The 2nd time my bank refused it. I haven't heard anything from Superbook since then. Keep me updated, since I was just planning to withdrawal from 5dimes on Monday.

I spoke to a supervisor, I have no doubt I will get the money, its just a bad feeling when a check bounces and it adds time before I can get my hands on the money.
I understand that it is not the books fault. If it was up to them I would have the money in my hand immediately after request with no fee. However the government has ****ed us all. I dont blame the book.

Superbook is a D- book. You shouldn't expect to get paid from them.
5dimes will pay you. Period. It may take time with the processor issues but they will pay

Got my money put back into my account at Superbook. It took them around 2 months, but I guess that is the industry norm when you have to put a stop payment on a check. Any updates on the 5dimes checks that bounced?

There was only 1 reported 5dimes check that bounced in this thread. I'm assuming that it was taken care of since we didn't hear anything else.
I will know the status of my situation on Wednesday of this week and I will report what the result is. The book that bounced my check was not 5dimes but an A+ book.
A friend of mine is getting paid by 5 dimes next day. USA.

Funny thing is they bounce checks its ok, if you were to bounce a echeck they would never let you try to deposit another way to clear it they would just cancel your whole winnings.

Here is the resolution, everything worked out great. I was told to simply redeposit the same check that had bounced before and it would be good this time. So I redeposited it last week and now after waiting out the 5 business day hold, the funds are available in my account
I didn't have to pay any fees for the bounced check, all it cost me was an extra couple of weeks without the money. I never use the money I deposit from checks in my account for a few weeks anyway just to make sure the check is good.
Play at the A books and you will get paid, its as simple as that
Another thing is not to be anxious to get your money right away when you deposit your check. Let it sit for a while to make sure it is good. I wait weeks before thinking about using any of the money from a check, and I never have to pay bounced check fees.
If you want the money quicker use a different payout method.
