Default 10 bet have stolen my money.

Hi,

10 bet have charged me 21 Euros for my Moneybookers widhdrawal wheras they sholud have charged me 1 Euro.
I have sent them several emails and they can’t be bothered to answer and give my money back.
I know 20 Euros is not much but this is about rules that they constantly keep breaking and do whatever they like.

My horror with 10 bet started a few months ago.
On 31th December 2007 I opened a thread in here because 10 bet unfairly cancelled my bets.

10bet unfairly cancelled my bets HELP!!!

Since then 10 bet limited my stakes heavily, in some cases down to 1 Euro.
They cancelled many bets when the line went the way they didn’t like, even if the stake was 5 Euro.

Here is my withdrawal history in a nutshell.

On 12th December 2007 I made a 200 Euro withdrawal and they charged me 1 Euro.

On 13th January 2008 I made a 300 Euro withdrawal and they charged me 15 Euros. I sent them email asking why and received an immediate reply that it was fine as according to their rules. I checked them and indeed they could charge me up to 5 % for the second withdrawal within 30 days. It was my fault as I didn’t check their rules.

Before making a new withdrawal I read through all the rules carefully and decided to wait more than 2 months just to be on the safe side.
So on 21st March I made a 700 withdrawal and to my astonishment they charged me 21 Euros instead of 1 Euro.

Till now I haven’t received any answer.

After having sent 3 emails they finally replied on 28 March:

Your request has been forwarded to our Accounts Department. They will contact you shortly.

After a few days I wrote to them:

Hello,

How long will I wait till I get the answer to my simple Question.
Why have you charged me 21 Euros for Moneybookers withdrawals as according to your rules it sholud be 1 Euro?

Is it really such a problem for you to give me the answer. Just admit you must have made a mistake and give me 20 Euro back.

regards,
Maciej

They replied:

Your account is under review.

Again after a few days I wrote again:

How long will I still have to wait for the answer to my question about taking 20 euros charge for withdrawal without any reason?

Maciej

They replied:

You will be contacted shortly on this matter.

Again after a few days I ran out of patience and wrote:

Hi,

It's been 2 weeks already since I sent you my first email of complaint. Then I kept sending emails and you didn't solve the case.
You unjustly charged me 21 Euros for my Moneybookers withdrawal whereas you should have charged me just 1 Euros. These are your rules but you didn't stick to it.
I understand that it is nothing unusual to make mistakes but you simply don't bother to fix it.
I am a patient person but enough is enough.
I'm sorry to say that but you have stolen 20 Euros from my account and you are not willing to give it back.
If I don't get my money back in 2 days time I will write to IBAS and SportsBook Review and ask them for help.
I will quote them all the emails I have sent to you and your simple answers to them such as: "Your account is under review" or "You will be contacted shortly on this matter".

I look forward to hearing from you.

regards,
Maciej

And I received such a reply:

Your account is under reveiw.

I decided to tell you the story as I can’t see any other solution.

Can someone from SBR help me, please?

regards,
Maciej

I wonder why still so many guys play with 10Bet. They are one of the worst books in the industry. If you look at bettingadvice you will find new bad news about 10Bet weekly. The newest one is this one: http://forum.bettingadvice.com/viewtopic.php?t=76934

We will ask ownership about this one. The last one like this they claimed the moved the line the wrong way briefly and moved it back, and canceled the bet right away. Not a good thing regardless but different than snoozin and deleting all bets players had equity on.

10bet is really a book that needs a manual on how to use them.

they are the ultimate hedgers as far as i can tell, for different sports they copy different books and mirror their odds minus a percentage. sometimes it's pinnacle, sometimes it's an asian. you place a (big) bet, i'm convinced from what i've seen they just quickly go to the other book and copy your bet at better odds.

just for fun place a sizeable bet at 10bet on for example euro-hockey, and while the bet is being referred to a trader watch the (slightly higher) Pinnacle-line move downwards, and your bet being accepted by 10bet about a minute later. I want to emphasize this could all be a coincedence and I have no inside knowledge whatsoever, but I'm quite sure they work like this.

they have cut my limits so severely, everything I bet gets referred to a trader, so I never catch them on a slow moving line (they just reject my bet or take a very very small amount, and that's ok i guess). So if my bet does get accepted I know I problably could've gotten better value elsewhere in the online bookmaking world, but since i don't have an account everywhere, they still on some occasions have the best price available to me. in that sense they can be quite useful, and as long as you take bets by their traders, they are quite fair (and even paid out on a palp recently wich their trader apparently overlooked). also, for me specifically, since I can't bet at pinnacle, 10bet is a viable alternative for me. I also never experienced any problems with payout.

on the downside: the picture of 10bet being fair changes completely if you stay under the limits, in other words, your bets are not approved by their traders but automatically accepted. they really void everything (and i do mean everything) they have a big liability on and they can't hedge properly. they always call it a typing order (and they do e-mail about it very fast), but it is not, it's a slow moving line and they have lots and lots of them every day.
they must be voiding countless bets per week, considering all of the similar complaints on the message boards. the only consolation is they will also limit anyone betting on these lines quite quickly, so very soon the only way you can place a decent bet is through their traders and as i already explained above, that pretty much solves the voiding-problem you have with them.

As soon as I had realised that they simply void everything they like I decided to withdraw my money.
The problem is that they apparently don't like it and decided to charge (steal) some extra money.
Still no response from them on that matter.

Thats a nice point of view. :-)

Here is another:

10 bets CEO has said 10 bet would have lost over 500,000 Euro with FIXED GERMAN 2nd League Soccer games.

Now 10 bet want this money back with cheating their customers

At least 10 bet are cheaters and a scam.
