Are you talking about the Rizzo brothers? Tommy & Joey Rizzo?

BetUsSBR RATING D-Avoid List

8/18/2005 11:48:00 PM
SBR Bill Dozer reports: BetUs (SBR rating D-) unwilling to clear $25,000 debt to player. The sportsbook agreed to discuss two claims from players who were cheated out of their funds. These discussions resulted in one player receiving a five figure balance (reported on 6/30/05) and created hope for a 2nd player, whose dispute dates back three years. BetUs’ argument was that this case was mediated by The Shrink, formerly of TheRX, and that the player had agreed to the result of mediation. The player described a hostage situation where he was forced to agree to a deal in order to receive what was almost 2/3rds of his balance. SBR has contacted The Shrink who stated “ [i] thought that I got the max for player that I could” and went on to say that the player deserved the remainder of his funds. SBR has reviewed this case in detail and agrees that BetUS clearly owes the player the remainder of the account balance, totaling $25,000.

Hopefully not. I'll give them credit for advancing after graduating from SBU (Scam Booking University) 2nd in their class (behind tej), they seem to be trying the non scam method.

I'll give SBR and TheRx some big credit for exposing this scam early on and reminding players about the stiff jobs of the past.

Default Guess the book owner

nick,

I was waiting 4 bill to answer our question guy's so I don't want to give it away yet.

George G....... runs that shop with you know who (mr honest) mark champion not that place, but they are certinally well BELOW that D rating.

They too have now taken that strech and dino approach to business.

That entire office complex has become breeding grounds for scams over the years and tej .....
well he is the TOP DOG in that area. I guess that's why his office has always been on the 7th or TOP FLOOR over there right.

Here is Shrink's ruling.

Quote:
I spent many days (not just hours) getting involved
for one of the players.

After I heard "BOTH SIDES", I ruled that one of the
players should received a 5 figure payout that was
rightfully his...

I didn't think he should receive any of the bonus
money because NASA gave me enough proof to believe he
was not entitled to it...

The player agreed to my decision, and also agreed that
once he received the 5 figure payout, he would NEVER
complain about NASA on a forum, or through litigation.

In other words, he agreed to HONOR a SETTLEMENT...

This did not happen! Nor did he ever hint to to me
that he would not HONOR his word...

Immediately after he cashed the payout, he renigged on
the agreement that I had worked so hard on between
himself and Little Nasa..

I find it very hard to deal with these guys who seem
to be in cohoots with one another, especially when it
comes to posting, but perhaps even betting.

All you get to see on this forum is what each party
types, but believe me, there is much more to these
cases than can be printed in one thread (except maybe
one by Patrick's, lol)...

Once I give my "word" on a deal, then no matter what,
I have to honor it...

MYFOOTBALLGAME didn't do that and gives the lame
excuse he only agreed to the "settlement" in order to
get something back.

Furthermore, in the past, when I spend this much time
to help gamblers, they'd be so appreciative.

I ask for nothing back in return, excpet maybe a thank
you...

But to imply I am "on the take," and then to
deliberately start a thread about how great SBG GLOBAL
is (when they both knew I was robbed for over 92k by
them) shows just what type of characters we are
dealing with

I AM NOT GONNA SIT HERE ALL NIGHT AND GO THROUGH THIS WITH YOU MFG.....

YOU ARE THE ONE THAT WENT IN AND EDITED THE PICKS U POSTED....AND THEN U SAY BOSTON WAS AHEAD 4-0 WHEN I BROUGHT IT UP..I DIDNT BRING UP SHIT.....YOU POSTED THAT YOUR PLAYS WERE IN THE OTHER THREAD, THEN EVEN POINTED OUT YOURSELF , THAT U HAD EDITED IT....THAT IS WHEN I TOLD YOU THAT IT WOULD NOT COUNT....BOSTON MAY VERY WELL HAVE BEEN AHEAD AT THAT POINT, BUT I DIDNT BRING IT UP, YOU DID....THAT IS WHY I WENT AND LOOKED AT THE POST, SAW THAT IT WAS EDITED, AND TOLD U I COULD NOT COUNT IT.....FIGURING YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THAT U CANT EDIT POSTS IN A CONTEST, I THOUGHT ALL WAS ALRIGHT...LATER THEN I SAW YOUR REPLY, SAYING U THOUGHT IT SHOULD COUNT, THAT IS WHEN I TOLD U FINAL, THAT IT COULD NOT COUNT, AND THAT IS THE TIME I WAS SAYING THAT THE GAME WAS TIED......

QUIT TRYING TO BLAME ME, AND ACCUSE ME , FOR SOMETHING YOU DID...YOU EDITED THE POST......

U KNOW DAMN WELL, EVEN IF I HADNT SEEN IT, THAT IF YOU REALIZED THAT NIGHT YOU HADNT BEEN CREDITED, AND TOLD US TO LOOK IN THE STANDINGS THREAD, THAT U WOULD HAVE GOTTEN CREDIT FOR IT...SO DONT USE THAT AS AN EXCUSE...WE HAVE CREDITED EVERY GAME WE HAVE MISSED, EVEN IF IT WASNT POSTED IN THE PICKS THREAD...IF IT WAS STATED THAT IS WAS FOR THE CONTEST, AND THE LINES WERENT UP, WE HAVE CREDITED THEM.....

SO THAT IS JUST BS.....

U EDITED THE PLAY, AND NOW ACCUSE ME OF CHEATING!!

I NEVER ONCE ACCUSED YOU OF CHEATING, AND EVEN SAID THAT EARLIER, BUT NOW WHEN U START THROWING OUT ACCUSATIONS LIKE THAT JUST FOR FUN, IT REALLY MAKES ME WONDER......

Square,

You must know that I spoke to "Tommy" last night so you must know what we talked about ..and that they are being evaluated.

Very interesting to see another sportsbook, that used to reduce limits, looking for the wiseguys and going on DonBest. Intertops vs. Millennium fighting over sharps. I like it!

These shops like to say they have no relation to BoS but they still use the them when stating they are publicly traded. I don't think you can have it both ways. The stock symbol says that BoS is solvent but it doesn't assure players that their casino winings and free-plays are honored.

One of the things we are talking about is how the different managements individualize each books. This was acknowledged when David at Jag and BettorsTrust rectified a few issues.
