Default Is it wrong to be bitter?

I'm bitter at a friend that did me wrong. And I can't shake off the bitterness. I feel like I've done everything to avenge myself except for physical harm.

The worst thing I have done to him so far: Calling the most aggressive sports touts in america and gave them his name and phone number. Through a mutual friend I found out that the day after I had given all the sports touts his info. He received 123 CALLS in a 12 hour period. Not enough though. What else can I do to get this bitterness off my chest?"

You don't explain why you are bitter, and who "he" is.

Oh My bad. He was an ex friend of mine named When we were still friendly he had told me that he was going to move to another state entirely in about 4 weeks. I told him that we should get some of our friends together and have one night to go out and raise some hell. He never did and not only that but he didn't call to say goodbye to anyone at all I was the one who had to break the news to all of his friends.
This guy is really deserving of his name "Shit"

In my opinion (take it for what it's worth, as I don't know all the parties involved)... It was definitely foul what he did, but maybe, just maybe, he felt bad that he was leaving his friends behind, and maybe the only city he knew, and had a lot to do in order to prepare for the move. 123 calls in 12 hours, and probably a lot more in the next few days seem like a lot just for that, but it's already a done deal, so fuck him I guess.

Did you ever stop to think that he had to move to another state on very short notice and was just overwhelmed by everything that involves. That your friend did not intentionally "dis" all of you but was just under a lot of stress due to moving to another state in so short a time?

Did the move include a job change?

I think you are being ridiculous. Call your friend and ask him/her how he/she is doing in the new environs.

    Stop being a jackazz.

As far as calling "shit" and asking how she is doing. I took the liberty of badmouthing him to everyone in my family. So as to make sure I wouldn't go soft and try to do something like calling him up. I'm far too into this to turn back now. I also called him and told him I never wanted to speak/see him ever again. And called him a prick.

I was right. One of you is male and the other female.

well, I have been in the situation where I had to move several states away with little notice in order to make a living. It isn't easy. You really should stop being a jackazz.

I can see both sides of it but there comes a time where you just need to let stuff go. The more you worry about making someone else's life miserable the less you will be able to live your own life.

Tell him he's not invited to your birthday. Thats what I did when I was a six year old, which is how you are acting.

Be the bigger person, call him up and ask him why he blew you guys off. Put it on him to explain. If you dont like his answer then tell him that you are done with him and move on

Your bitterness doesn't sound warrented to me. Your friend just moved and you still have his number right. Maybe he thought you were the only one of his friends that he wanted to stay in contact with. BTW friend are a dime a dozen. Shake it off man, stop being such a metrosexual about it and go get some other friend to hang with and have some beers.
