Default Ladbrokes possible problem in few minutes

I have taken yesterday a bet about the formula 1 race who starts in 1 hour at Monza. The bet is a dual forecast, that means Montoya and Raikonnen to finish in the first two places. The bookmaker who offered this bet is Ladbrokes, one of the biggest british bookies, www.ladbrokes.com As I said the race will start in about 1 hour. I just talked to a guy who lives in other country and he bets big ammounts of money. He told me that he also took this bet yesterday, but Ladbrokes emailed him and told him that they had wrong odds, and he should decide if he wants to bet on the new odd or to refund the money. They also told him that they will email all of the punters that have taken this bet.

My bet is still pending. I hope that if this will be a winner they won't cancel it after the race. If they will cancel it in the next minutes I will post about it again.

Okey guys, Montoya won, Alonso finished 2nd. Raikonnen would go for 1st or 2nd but a problem with his tyre forced him only to finish in 4th place.

And now the weird things: My bet is lost, but a friend of mine who took the same bet after me, checked his account and guess what he saw ... They had changed the bet to Montoya/Alonso (without sending him any emails before the race) and he won. Only 5 euros for 3.25 european odd. I emailed them asking them how is it possible to have a different handling of the situation on other punters.

On their first reply Ladbrokes told me that the bet has been settled correctly, I emailed them again and I asked why they have cancelled the bet on others punters but not for all punters. Today Ladbrokes emailed me and told me that the money I had on the bet has been refunded.

By the way I never asked from Ladbrokes to cancel my bet, I just wanted to know how come and the have emailed some and not all the punters, but Ladbrokes is a very serious bookie, they understood their mistake and they gave me the money back, even if I haven't asked for it.

Compare this with what another bookie does, on this url :Globet refuse to pay
