Padraig has the game for Augusta National. Probably won't win it, but he could be top 10.

Bet against Tiger 1st round any match up you can get. Too big of odds and he is slow out in 1st round.

Absolutely. Somebody that only the most diehard golf fan has ever even heard of - perhaps even the ranking amateur - will lead after the first round. Not unusual at Augusta.

Been to many tournaments , they are pretty much all the same to me. Hard to really watch a lot in person , prefer TV for the tournaments.

The masters is the toughest tourney to get into in the world. There's no one in the field that only the most diehards have heard of.

Well, you're better than me. I must admit that in 1994 when U.S. Amateur Trip Kuehne had Tiger Woods five down with 12 holes to play, I had no idea who the heck Trip was!

When the Tour Championship came to Houston every other year I would always go to that. Top 30 players in the world, was always fun to attend.

I can't remember the last time I bet on golf. So, I put a bet down on Tiger going OVER 72 for the 1st round.

    Here's a prop I can't really understand at Matchbook

    Lowest round higher/lower than 66.5

If anyone in the field shoots a 66 or lower in ANY round, the under 66.5 wins.

Last year was exceptionally cold and windy. The lowest score was a 68.

Each of the 10 years before that, there was at least one 66 or lower at some round in the tourny.

So how can this prop be traded at -115???

Most people at the time didn't know who Tiger was -- so you were way ahead of the curve.

An odd note -- Trip Kuehne has stayed and competed as an Amateur all this time, qualified for this years masters by winning the us midam, and will be retiring from amateur golf after this week.

I read that somewhere this past week. Interesting way to play out a career that started out really well.

    My early picks for tourney:

E Els over G Ogilvy (Ogilvy is a great player, but first round in Augusta ... dont think so)

J Furyk over R Goosen (Furyk top 10 in Augusta)
