Mets have a solid team...they are just like the yankees in that they dont start playing good ball until the middle of the season...right now...yes bet against them but watch out when they start actually playing.

Definitely feel they are overrated. Lineup isnt anything special and pitching is suspect

Let me give you guys a gambling tip. No team in the history of baseball that has a big name like the mets, and has had a decent road trip comes home on opening day and wins when everyone is betting them. Lesson number two is if you can't open your mind to some of these games possibly being shady you will get run right over. This sorry Phillies today had to get walks and a funny thrown ball in the back of one of their players that a child could have made to score runs. Isn't it kinda funny that the team who was hype to death(Detroit), in the beginning of the year, is now 0 and 7 and the team everyone thought would get buried Baltimore is now 6-1. Just my opinion and i know this is a sore topic with many.

Every team that is slumping now bet against until they hit. As the slump again, bet against them again.

that is exactly what you should do unfortunately people do it the opposite and bet the team that is losing thinking they are overdue. That way you can lose forever. The other way you will only lose one time. Also the latter way you may run up a nice streak.

Agreed, look at everyone betting on Detroit the last few games...maybe we should be saying they just aren't very good right now.

Can they turn it around, sure. But I won't bet on them until they do.

Being a Braves fan, I hate the Mets. Although I dont think they are an overrated team. Its taking them a little while to get going. Pitching staff is good, Santana, Maine, Perez, all good pitchers. Give them a little time, they'll take over the NL East and then lose it in the last couple weeks of the season.
