    Default Poster: Hedge Hog Wins the National Title Write up Contest

    Im glad i didn't have the final say, it would have been too tough. When it came down to it our contest grader finished up by saying:

    I think the winner has to Hedge Hog - he even eluded to the OT!
    Hedge Hog had a nice write up, won the side, won the total, and alluded to the possibility of OT. Overall there were some impressive write ups and it looks like we had a lot of winners last night.

    again, this is not an SBR thing, so any complaints have to come to me.

    WOW! First I get 2nd in the March Madness contest and now the Write-Up Top honor. I was trying to bow out gracefully yesterday as there were other just as deserving write-ups, Diatchi and Eagle to name a few. Great job guys.

    Congrats Hedge, I appreciate the compliment on my writeup but I think you just had a few more meaningful intangibles than I did. Fantastic writeup and gl on future plays.

    I can see where you are coming from about the points as you want to give yourself the leeway in case Memphis did pull it off. As for me, I was pretty sure Kansas was going to win this one. I was a little scared when Memphis started building the lead up to about 2:30 left in the 2nd half. At that point I said to myself, ok, i'm either going to have an excellent writeup or this game is over.

    I thought we were goners, too. You don't expect a top team to blow a 9 point lead in the final two minutes or so. Amazing comeback--I hope you cashed big.
