He was telling me how most the money/bets came in on memphis and nobody was giving kansas a shot. I thought I was doing him a favor by taking kansas at 5gs +100... Well supposively 2 other guys I know who usually bet 5g's or more easy came in and hit kansas as well. He wants to pay them first....

What to do? I know the local is legit and can pay me... I think its more or less he needs time to collect the money from the guys who are now in the hole like JJ and are taking out loans to pay the book etc etc...

Anyone ever run into this before?

run into this problem both times when he bookie was not returning my calls cuz he was juggling money and waiting to collect to be able to pay me. and also had him come straight forward with me and said the same thing he said to u, to me. as long as he is straight forward and u think he would do the same thing with u if u needed to have a payment plan and u came to him and asked for the same thing, and he said yes, i would be fine with this. also make sure u can trust him 100%

About the woman thing.....obviously she's going to be pissed because you bet 5K on a game, but the bright side is you won. My woman would be absolutely livid with me if I bet that much, but if I won she would be dancing around with joy. Giver her some of the cash and tell her to go buy something nice for herself.

Now the tricky part will be if she's made about you lying about not betting anymore. In that case, you're pretty much screwed for a little bit. Good news is that she'll get over it. Dude take my advice and get what he can give ya and don't go threatening him or you won't get anything. In this day and age if you go threatening someone and they get you on tape you are in a lot of trouble. Go "explain" to him how it is so much better healthwise if he pays you and stiffs someone else. You should be able to make him every eager to clear his conscience if you "explain" things correctly. Take some visual props to help with the "explanation". Garden tools, construction tools like a chainsaw, hunting gear, some people are visual learners and understand explanations better if there is visual imagery.

Listen, I would have no problem with my dude betting. As long as he's halfway decent at it and doesn't run us into serious debt, I'm cool with it. But there are two pots of money you just DON'T dip into for your habit: 1.) College funds for the kids and 2.) OUR downpayment for a house. My thought would be: What if you had lost that $5k? Take another $5k to win it back? Before you know it, we would have no downpayment for a home. Your best bet is to grovel for forgiveness. Don't be a weenie and throw a computer virus back in her face. Even if she had ruined the whole damn computer, I bet it would cost less than you put on that game to replace it. $5k is a lot of money. Maybe not to some of you guys on here, but for me (and apparently your girl) it is. You need to put that $5k and then some back in your savings account ASAP. You've got a fighting shot at forgiveness if you make it look like you were just trying to add to the downpayment. Also, chat with your bookie. Tell him you understand and everything is cool, but you'd appreciate getting your money as soon as he has it....because you may not be getting laid until then. Hopefuly, he has a heart.

the 100 bets on memphis = my 5k to even the action out plus the other 10 guys...then the two rich dudes came in late with about 15k on it...between the two of them. So he got lopsided big time about 5 minutes before gametime the otherway...

Then he got scared and cancelled all halfers/10min bets. He only takes them on championship games or its too much to keep track of.

But anyways, since the two guys are pretty rich/cocky need my shit now or I'm going to come after you type of guys cuz we are royal douchebags... he's just paying them off and having me wait.

She is putting 3k down I'm putting 25k down on the house. We are schedualed to put 15k down per the pre loan approval crap and loan approvals.

She has no room to bitch at all. Oh and the computer of mine that I use for work and school that she is NEVER suppose to use, (she has her own friggen nice desktop) she used and downloaded virus's that have removed the control panel and removed the admin permissions to make any changes to the windows tree structure. So basically my computer is royally screwed and I'm spending about 100.00 getting it fixed prob.
