Most pathetic finishing team I've ever seen in my life. The other team just autofouls and that is like an autoturnover. Who coaches these kids on shooting fukin Ben Wallace? Alright guys the key is to throw it on a straight line and try to ram the front of the rim and maybe itll hop in, fukin pathetic i want to see a ft comp with Memphis against 2nd graders, line would be -500 2nd graders

With 2 minutes left the Memphis players must of thought they won the championship. To have it stolen away like that must be painful..

No the game went exactly as Kansas planned according to the posters in here, be down 9 with 2 1/2 mins left have Memphis stars shoot 25% FT percentage on intentional fouls for last 2 1/2 mins to give you the chance to drain a defended 3 pointer with 2 secs left and win in OT. Self is a fukin genius!

No according to SBR posters they will be in the NBA and didn't give a shit about winning the first ever national championship for their school, they basically just showed up b/c they had nothing better to do and didn't really care either way. So who cares crown the fukin Jayhawks, IF YOU LIKE EM SO MUCH CROWN THEIR ASS BUT THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.... AND WE LET EM OFF THE HOOK.

...and to have it given away by a coach who has no concept of probability must be even worse.

frost said they will be in the NBA makin millions next year so it won't bother them a bit. Apparently memphis has no pride whatsoever and just showed up for a joke game and heads home laughin about how they choked off what would've been their schools first ever NCAA championship

Yeah for real dude.. Fate is a weird thing, when I was watching the Kansas players and coach cutting down the net I was thinking that if Chalmers didn't make that shot that it would be Calipari and Memphis cutting down those nets.

Nothing lucky about it. Last time I checked, FT shooting is a skill. A skill Memphis players don't have.

Memphis shot 81% FTs during the tourney , so the people that say they "knew" FT shooting would terrible for memphis don't have much merit IMO

I see well 50% FT shooting is not a skill that's basic ****ing hand eye coordination and these are the most skilled college athletes in basketball so one would figure they might be able to drop 50% which any jackass off the street could do. CDR/Rose and probably Dorsey are all going to be starting in the NBA soon and since the lowest ever FT avg. for an NBA player is 41 percent by Ben Wallace you might figure that one of these guys could step up and at least match that lofty goal, but anyway at least that opened the door for a miracle buzzer three and a loss in OT, so just as planned I'm sure. That Kansas sure likes to make things interesting in their game winning no luck strategy.

CDR shot 71.2% from the line for the season, 66.7% tonight.
Rose shot 71.2% from the line for the season, 75% tonight.

I'll take either guy's career NBA FT% at a line of -25% against Big Ben...and win easily. Get over it...or at least use a valid argument.

Your brain is too small to even contemplate choking and luck, Memphis goes 1/5 on their last 5 FT attempts (one of which was the front of a 1 and 1 so not only cost them a pt but also another FT), if they go 2/5 (or 2/6 if front end goes) which Ben Wallace would do in his sleep they win the game. If you think expecting 70+% FT shooters to make 2/5 (or 2/6) FTs to win a game is not a valid argument than I am sorry you are truly retarded. You've been doin this too much and your brain has paid the price

Not capable of making 2/5 (or 2/6) from the line to win a national championship, well you might be right perhaps they have Parkinson's disease.

We eat fish is the worst capper in history, I'm up 4k in last 2 months, conclusion you're fukin retarded (though I do hate to ever agree with fish). Once again if you think this game had no choke/luck involved why not get in with 2 mins left when matchbook had it at fukin +1800 for Kansas to win, either way you are either a hindsight jackass (which I suspect) or a retard who thinks that +1800 has a 50/50 to win but doesn't bet it b/c you are retarded

    Oh, the agony.

I feel very bad for you that you were involved in a game that had luck involved. Those are extremely rare as I'm sure only a polished handicapper as yourself would know.

I had my money on Memphis. They choked. The last 2 minutes of regulation didn't look like the Memphis team that ripped through the rest of the season and tournament. The defense seemed tired, they can't capitalize on a 3 on 1 break?! I think Kansas just wore them out.

Kudos to Kansas, though. They played plenty well enough to win. They deserve the win.

Please never respond to my posts again as you have no brain. There is luck in all games but when a team is 9 up with 2 mins left it takes such a miraculous level of luck that it goes beyond just normal losing a 50/50 bet kind of luck to losing a 50/1 type of bet. If you have a 200/200 on a game at the start and lose well u got slightly unlucky since the odds of you winning or losing were around equal if you have 200/200 on a 9 pt lead with 2 mins YOU GOT ASS RAPED BY BAD LUCK, BAD LUCK CAME UP TO YOU AND MADE YOU ITS PRISON BITCH. If you can't tell the diff. between normal amount of luck that affects all games and the type of luck a team like Kansas had to comeback from 9 down with 2 mins left to win the game then YOU SIR ARE A MORON. (Do not feel the need to respond to this post as you will say something retarded that will make me think more about the horrible events brought on by incredible bad luck in this championship that caused the far better team in Memphis to lose and the shitbox team of Kansas to win and for the morons who bet on Kansas to have my dollars in their pockets when it's clear that just for their pure stupidity of betting on the fukin Gayhawks they should be caned and/or stoned to death)

Yes, it was very unfair that Memphis' questionable free throw shooting was kept such a secret before the game. If only the media analysts had written an article or 20 about it.

You and all Memphis bettors were truly cursed that a team that shot 60.6% from the line over the course of the season shot only 63.2% from the line on Monday night. I've rarely seen such bad luck in all my life.

And that's not even to mention the horrible luck Memphis had on the boards! Getting outrebounded 37-27 is just that once-in-a-lifetime kind of unlucky!

Incidentally, I lost the following wagers on the game, all of which I was winning after 39 minutes and 57 seconds of play:
Under 1.5 3 pt FGs made by Chalmers
    Under 13.5 pts by Chalmers
Under 5.5 FTs made by Douglas-Roberts
    Under 20.5 pts by Douglas-Roberts
    Under 9.5 pts by Collins

Did I lose these because I was unlucky? Did I lose them because Calipari is a retard? ...but then, again, so are most coaches.
