I played ball in high school and thought i could beat this girl i work with that played for Radford, she was all Big South her senior year. To make a long story short, i couldnt. So parker would probably shut me out

I really think it depends on who you are. If your a coach potato sports bettor then of course you have no chance but if your a decent college or a top-tier HS basketball player I wouldn't doubt it. I know I play on one of the better D3 soccer teams in the country. We had a friendly scrimmage with the Women's National Team and they didn't come close to scoring a goal. Their quickness on the front line just paled in comparison to our sweeper's. To their credit their ball control was off the charts but based on that experience I don't think the "elite" women's athletes are as good as most would think when compared to "good" male athletes.
Now I'm aware Billie Jean King won the "Battle of the Sexes" but that dude was like 60 years old  |

my plan against a very good girl would be to take them into the post and basically back them down charles barkley style and then shot a layup
candice has a bit of height on me and longer arms so this would present a definite problem

In soccer women can't compete even close with men but for some reason basketball they can it seems.
However I would break her ankles she could not guard me.

I have played against a lot of girls, one was athlete of the year in Missouri, one went to Missouri St, one to Michigan, and they weren't that tough really at all. Now Parker is more athletic than them, but I still think at the very least I could give her a good game.

My buddy has played candice parker in pick up basketball.
He went to Johns Hopkins, was a solid ball player there, a role player, wasnt a star and they were only a .500 team.
he had no porblem with her at all.
she made a couple buckets on some nice moves, like step throughs and ball fakes, but she couldnt defend guy at all and couldnt beat him to the bucket off the dribble.

How big was the guy? he played Candice Parker one on one? Hopkins has had some decent players, but certainly nothing too special. More than a basketball player, he must be pretty bright. Nice school.
