There are many views on this. Drew Brees got hurt and San Diego is watching closely in what he does.
THe benefits of keeping Brees
1). Works great with LT and Antonio Gates.
2). Very good player and good arm
3). Has the respect of the team
4). Can be on the verge of superstardom
5). Has experience
The benefits of not keeping Brees
1). Got hurt last year and people are watching closely to see how he performs
2). Kinda inconsistent couple bad years and couple good years.
3). Phillip Rivers on the sideline
4). Wants a really big contract
5). A lot uncertainly currently
My oponion is this guy is money, even if got hurt, he will rebound and get better as the young San Diego team is fairly young. If they get a superstar wide receiver watch out. They already have the best all around Running back, best Tight end.
