I know what u mean man I had to spend over 1000 dollars just to have my teeth "cleaned" a year ago since I hadn't been to the dentist in over 10 years and didn't floss regularly, had plaque build up and beginnings of gum disease but now all is good, just give the dentist a dime and relax itll all be better in an hour

I don't know. A dime is not that bad. I am afraid of going in there and I need like 10-15K of procedures and shit.

I had two root canals done, at the end of 2006 and beginning of 2007. About 5 months ago had a Bridge put in for a tooth I had pulled when I was 18. I am all fixed up, and get cleanings done every 3 months now. Before the 06 visit, I had not been to the dentist in about 10 years. It is a must to keep your teeth and gums healthy, because it can lead to heart disease as well.

I am going to have to face reality but I am dreading it. It's kind of funny because I remember many people telling me take care of your teet or you'll regret it. I always would nod my head and think who cares. I am at the point where I regret it now.

I regret it myself BurtR. Its not a fun process, and not cheap either.

Tie some fishing line around a door handle, tie the other end around your tooth, and have the wife slam the door. Stick a gauze pad in the open hole for tonight, and by tomorrow, you should be pain free.

We are going to start seeing a significant increase in tooth decay due to the popularity of bottled water. Tap water contains a healthy percentage of fluoride, where most bottled water does not. I am sure dentists are already planning their early retirement.

I am lucky, I don't have one cavity and I am sure a big part of it is that water is my favorite thing in the world to drink.

I hope your teef start feeling better soon. If you can get a hold of some vicodin, do it.

Sounds like u need root canals...usually when it hurts that bad the decay has reached the nerve...just make sure u dont get infected...if u notice some swelling or have trouble swallowing...u definitely need someone to look at it...when i prescribe vic/perco for pts. to carry them over the night they usually tell me that it didnt really help too much..they come back either begging for the root canal or getting it taken out which is the cheaper route...

Dude try some of the universities in your area that have dental schools. You might be able to get a student to atleast pull them out for fairly cheap. If they have been bugging you that long you are going to need extensive oral surgery.

Get them fixed. This could lead you other more serious issues. Don't mess around with teeth. You kind of need them.
