you might want to consider pinny, wsex.or mansion. all three of these books are very top notch books.

Depends what you bet... halves, props, what sports, parlays etc.

For general bets, I like Mansion, but not a good choice if you like parlays, props, etc.

Not sure what Barney's up to, better keep an eye on him just in case.

Exchanges such as matchbook and mansion are also worth checking out. Not big over there with you guys but they should be. (Mansion -104 for everything, all the time). 5dimes and Olympic are also V. good.

There should be a FAQ somewhere on here that starts with:

    1. Open an account with Pinnacle.

I guess it's ok to poke around the other places checking out bonuses and messing around or whatever, but whenever you get serious about just flat handicapping, go to Pinnacle. 90% of the time they've got the best price for a line, period. Plus the overnight lines, variety of props and sports. The software is pretty tight as well, compared to some places that are just a pain to navigate. It's got to be absolutely the #1 book, and #2 is not even close.

P.S. Try to max out your first deposit as much as you can stand, because you only get one chance at a deposit bonus here.

The day you open your Pinnacle account will be the happiest day of your life in retrospect. Write the date down, because you will want to celebrate it more than any other day. The best plan is to wait until the day of your Wedding Anniversary. Wake up early and open your Pinnacle account, then have a wonderful day with your wife. She'll never suspect that your so happy about anything other than your wonderful union with her. In fact, the happiness will be a reaction to your union with Pinnacle. An added benefit to this plan is that you'll never forget your Wedding Anniversary.

Pinnacle has to be the first book anyone opens a account with. They are just that good. So I agree with what everyone said about Pinnacle (Pinny), that should be the next book you sign up with. Then move on to others.

But be sure to pick from the above books first. All top rated books here at SBR.

    My tops are:

    1. Pinnacle (by far)
    2. Tradesports (I love the trade exhange, great values)
    3. WSEX
    4. BoDog (Another site I have been with for about a month, nice underdog lines)
    5. Bet365 (I like the In-running option)
    6. Bowmans (nice lines underdogs)

I haven't tried cascade, hollywood, jamaica, etc.

Take care..........USC upsets UCLA...............Texas crushed by Oklahoma State.........

Pinnacle is great it's an all inclusive book and I use it a lot too...but don't restrict yourself to just one book. As Pags and others have noted, the importance of having multiple books (funded) is crucial for long term winning.

I usually keep 3 or 4 funded when I am betting serious like for NCAAF. All the above mentioned books are tremendous and have several advantages. You may also want to check out sportsinteraction....it has tremendous underdog lines.

There are some limitations there (i.e. no overnight lines, max wager is $1100...not that it matters for me, inflated money lines)...there use to be a lot of customer service complaints but from what I understand have ceased and CS is really good there IMO...but SIA is getting better and better (as SBR has noted) so they may be worth a look if you are big on underdogs.
