If Paul made just 1 of them you would have won cause that would mean they would have won by 2 which is .5 points more then you needed but he missed both of them so you lost which is really odd because he is an 86% free throw shooter so you don't expect him to miss both but he did miss both of them.

When you lose via free throws by a player that is 80% or above on a team that is expected to cover you didn't make a bad play, you just got screwed.
