    Default Pedro HURT already!!!

Mets fans were counting on him.

Pedro Martinez left Tuesday's game in the fourth inning with an apparent leg injury.
Martinez appeared to strain a groin or a hamstring muscle while delivering a pitch against the Marlins. He gave up four runs in 3 1/3 innings before departing. If he needs a DL stint, the Mets could bring Orlando Hernandez back early or go to Jorge Sosa for a spot start. Apr. 1 - 8:34 pm et

He needs to hang his glove up. Guy is doomed. Mets finish 2nd behind Phillies.

Pedro is no longer a front-line mlb starter. The Mets should rely on Santana and the young arms.
