Question Did I make the right choice?

    Need some advice here.

For the Washington/Air Force game I played AF today. Pinny was running AF +3 (-101) but Sportsinteraction was running it +3.5 (-110). I took the latter to make sure to get the hook but lost the reduced juice.

Did i do the right thing?

I think so - just marginally. Moving on and off 3 is pretty valuable and that was a fairly low price. (On that game at Pinnacle right now, it costs 17 cents for that half point.)

With this example, you need to ask yourself if pushes happen on spreads of three more than 9% of the time. I don't have the data in front of me but my gut feeling says pushes happen more than 9% of the time when you're looking at a spread of 3.

Not a lot more than 9% but probably a bit.

Good play! Half point in college off the 3 has got to be worth about 15 cents? You paid 9. Then again you have to consider interest on your money. Pinnacle will pay you today - SIA in 2 weeks.

I think you made the right choice regardless, but especially in a game where one team likes to run the ball so much to slow the game down. If it was Texas Tech @ Louisville, where you probably have triple digits in scoring, maybe you go the other way. Good play though.
