Default If Miami Heat was in the Final Four

Could they compete with the four #1 seeds?

    I think they will lose.

this is the same argument for the NFL could the worst NFL team beat the best College Football team...

I think any pro team will handle any college team, its just a whole diffrent playing field...

The Miami Heat might open something like -35 if they played any of the four teams in the Final Four....

The Heat would destroy UNC. They are not even on the same level. NBA vs. NCAA is like comparing little league to the majors.

I would bet the Heat. Men against boys. Full timers vs part timers. Pride only would give the Heat focus. Big bench edge also.

I would make unc-2 but it depends on da pressure. If MH had noting to lose they woul come out firing...dont forget heat get to shoot from ncaa 3pt line! so that means in exhib i would take the heat but in the tourney w/ something at stake i take unc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

absolutely ridiculous statement. the HEAT would be -12 to -17, but nowhere near -35. there are probably 3 great basketball players on the HEAT, and 3 on UNC. the worst team in the NBA would beat the best team in college, probably 93 out of 100 games, but -35 is simply crazy, 19-23 yr olds are more physically mature than you think

memphis has more good basketball players than miami, but would probably be +12 or +15 to the HEAT, and they would lose to the HEAT

Do you guys realize that the best Heat player currently active is Rickey Davis and Mark BLount?

    They have 8 NBDL players

I will wager anything that UNC would destroy the Heat from the last couple of games

There are tons of differences from top college teams to crappy pros. The physicality isn't all that different, most guys drafted to play in the pros are already big dudes anyway.

Watch a team that is down 10 or more play late in game in college, they still want to (and believe) they can win. Or maybe it's just pride they are playing for, but compare that to the professional level where you have subpar teams constantly packing it in after a game slips away especially late in year. You see passion a hell of a lot more on the floor at the collegiate level. I don't know who would win between UNC and Miami, but I certainly know who would be the ones to bow out if the game got ugly..

    Guys, Guys.

Heat would be around -20 vs. any Final Four team, and Miami would win outright (not necessarily cover) 99 out of 100 times. I am allowing for one oddball occurrance such as USA over USSR in Olympic Hockey, which is a perfect comparison (kids vs. pros).

How about last year's Florida Gators? That team was very mature for a college team, with fewer glaring weaknesses than this year's final 4 teams. Not to mention they're all playing pro ball now.

I'm not saying the Gators would be favored against an NBA team, but would've put them to a bigger test than any of this year's final 4.
