Adamo,
Are you the same player from the PlatSB photo thread? Shoot me an email so we can call Arnie at BP.

Betplatinum and BetPSI are the same book.
PlatinumSB.com is an entirely different company.

Should a book with a similar name as book with payout problems change their name? All these Platinums can be confusing eh?Originally Posted by BAUS

Hey guys...
A couple of interesting issues and questions here. If this is PlatinumSB who is slow paying I would be VERY surprised! Ali and his team are old school and I beleive he would meet you in the parking lot behind the McDonalds with an envelope before he would ever slow pay you. That of course is my unsolicited opinion.
"Should a book with a similar name as book with payout problems change their name? All these Platinums can be confusing eh?" I think the old Big Nasa little Nasa relationship is a perfect example of this question. The "Big" Nasa was plugging millions into their marketing budget every year and then "Little" Nasa was getting the trickle down effect of "Big" Nasa's marketing efforts. It made a lot of sense for "Big" Nasa to switch names to BetOnSports.

Any updates on this?
I have $ in this place. I've never heard a bad thing about them and I'm starting to believe there may be more to the story.

Adamo,
Are we are speaking by email?
Platinum is promising payment today and did verify that some players have waited all last week.
Yipee,
Can you PM or email me your acct. ID?

Hmmm...I think their rollovers are based on the amount you bet. FYI I'm currently 4/5th the way through a 10x rollover with them, having succumbed to their $125 matching bet promo last week. This rollover is based on the amount wagered.Originally Posted by yippeeeeee

Catsfan,
It sounds like they need some cash in Neteller and are dialing for dollars. Mgt. mentioned needing to move some cash around because the 30% promo prompted a lot of players to hit and run using Neteller, depleting the merchant account.
The 50% offer is suspect considering they admitted the 30% was responsible for large losses. Although players were paid and this is probably just a case of a small book readjusting to the time of the year, it is never a good sign to see big bonus offers after a batch of slow-pays.
Pass on the offer.

I played at Bet Platinum a couple different times in the past. Both times I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. Decent but unspectacular value, but the headaches easily outweighed the value so I never went back.
The first time they were slow on at least one, and if I remember correctly two, payouts. Not super slow, as in I was waiting months for my money, but more like it took them a week to do what almost all books would have done in 24 hours or less. The second time, when I made a payout to zero out my account, it took maybe a couple days longer than it should have, plus they tacked on a fee after telling me it would be free under their rules. It was too piddly to fight with them about, but that just confirmed for me it was a chickenshit operation.
They also can be pretty aggressive in calling to try to get you to come back, which I know is a practice a lot of people hate. It only bothers me a little, as I just hang up.
Basically a crap book. Good luck to all trying to get paid.
