I am using BetJamaica today for the first time. I usually use Vip.com. However, since I live in the US, I am going with BetJam because of payout options, ability to place phone wagers, and last but not least, the SBR rating. I phoned in my deposit info (**) just now. I was a little uncomfortable with having to provide my password to the phone rep. Never did it for Bodog or Vip. Hmmmm. I'll keep the newbies or whoever is interested informed of the BetJam experience.

That is pretty standard fare----using your pw to the operator. It is the way 90% of the books validate and confirm wagers with you.

It also confirms that it is indeed you calling in.

BetJam is first rate, all the way. I have been with them for a few years-----good choice.

i guess if they didnt ask for your password- anyone could call with your acct number and make changes to or inquiries about your account. they are a really legit book. fewer betting options than most but other than that they are definitely one of the best. also- their customer service is willing to solve problems and find resolutions...but oh yeah i think their ** fees (for withdraws) are higher than the actual fees or those charged by other books- but their fedexed checks are some of the fastest in the biz.

I have used Bet Jamaica and they are good, but the book I use the most which had a lot of controversy some time ago is SBGGlobal and I have never had a problem. Customer service is excellent and they have a new Mobile platform for wagering from your mobile phone which I really like as it fast and easy as well as secure. Just recently made a reload and got a great bonus and now offer FREE Deposits and Payouts. Be ready to fax/scan copies of your ID and/or utility bill before you make a withdrawal, then be prepared to send them a few more times because they'll tell you it's not clear enough..
