Dude, I'm not a NC fan but when I see talent I recognize it no matter what Bilas says. If you can't see the way he hassles in every play then you know nothing about basketball. Padgett was taller than him but he used his body wisely to get open and get rebounds, lose balls, score, do whatever the team needed to win.

Hansborough gets timely baskets and key rebounds but so do other players in college ball. If I'm a NBA GM how can I take a chance on this kid when there are so many other guys with huge ceilings. He's a decent player but hustle only gets you so much in the NBA. I am a DIE HARD BULLS fan and we have 2 of the biggest energy and hustle guys in KimNoah and Tyrus Thomas and look where that gets us. J.J. Reddick was a good player in college can't get off the bench.

I hear what you're saying, and it's certainly a fair point worth making, but I just don't think you can bet against this guy (and I'm not talking gambling). I know every player wants to win, nobody likes to lose, but watching him play is just different. He never gives up, and you can't say that for everyone, he NEVER gives up on a play. He's incredibly talented, a fierce clutch competitor, and I'm confident with the right coaching he could make a big impact on pro hoops. You can always count on him with the game on the line.

but I think he's gonna come back for his senior year, try to improve his stock and work on his jumper even more...

cause in order to be successfull at the next level he's gotta improve his jumper (it was on tonight..) and keep that drive up for a lengthy season...

He is very good at the college level and his college performance tonight was outstanding. When he decides to go pro he will probably be a power forward like Horford is for the Hawks.
