interesting... in Chicago their is no such thing as Cubs and Sox fans. You're either one or the other. I thought USC/UCLA was a huge rivalry?

Born and raised in Los Angeles area.. I root for all L.A teams except the Lakers.

USC basketball has been garbage ever since I could remember only until the last few years has it even been respectable.

haha your comparing Cubs/Sox to UCLA/USC? OMG

I don't understand what the big deal is with me rooting for both teams who are a 20 min drive away from my doorstep.

you said "interesting" like your catching me doing something..

Raiders fans are still pissed. LA is mostly Mexican/Latino and they're almost ALL Raiders fans. I know it's not fair to stereotype people but I think it's safe to say that 90% of all Latino's here are Raiders fans still to this day. It's like a cholo thing mostly.

Rams fans don't really give a Shit..

lol no I truly find it interesting. Its just weird bc in Chicago that just wouldn't happen I can tell you that much. I dont talk to many people at all out west so I just always thought it was a big rivalry

Don't let him kid you, there are about 4 people in LA that root for both SC and UCLA.

I'm sure USC players are rooting against UCLA right now.. HAHA.. Nobody has Pac-10 unity or Los Angeles pride. I know USC grads that hate UCLA but of course are rooting for them to win..

Ah, the Trojan football/Bruin basketball fan. Someone who never walks because there's always a bandwagon to jump on. Ask anyone who is a fan of either school, not a certain sport, if these "fans" are welcome and see what kind of response you get.

Seriously, who would one cheer for when they play each other if they were truly a fan of both?

Personally, I have never met a true fan of both schools.

    It's not about USC/UCLA

Its about the fact that USC is a football orientated school and UCLA is a basketball orientated school. Bars all over the city have fans who root for both teams..

Unless you are alumni, you can root for anyone you want.
