Thumbs down NBA all-star game

i don't know about you guys. but, i find absolute no interest in betting on this this event at all.

back when bird and magic played in these games, it truely ment something, and it was worth watching. all we see are a bunch selfish, showboating, over paid childern playing street ball that really don't care.

I have the same interest in betting this game as I do the Pro Bowl. None.

Id rather watch this allstar game then the Pro Bowl though. It is exciting with all the show boating if they execute their moves and not mess things up.

The league needs to do something about the fan voting. If the fans vote in injured players or players that just havent performed, then they need to step in remove that player from the list. I get sick of seeing players in there that havent played much in the first half of the season, and players get snubbed because of it.

As a kid I really looked forward to all-star weekend, but now I don't even care.

2nd half betting can present some real nice opportunities. These types of games are my favorite because they're high profile and the lines are more influenced by the public's take. I call it the Super Bowl effect. Its not that the volume is huge on novelty games but its the only NBA play on the board that day. The action junkies have to get down on it.

I find the NBA very boring in general...especially compared to NCAAB

The once a year opportunity makes it tough but there is always some good line movement at the half. Anytime you can get a nice number its success right?

The folks at Pinny still haven't figured out that Raja Bell stayed home, and graded my 3-pt contest bet on him a loser. Very small wager, but just goes to show that nobody takes this stuff serious, not even the books.

I will try the East moneyline with small stakes. +163 is pretty good price for this kind of match.

I wouldn't hit this one until the half. If I was looking for a side now it could only be the West at 4.5. It looks like all the 5.5s are gone?

WWTS has 170. I like that play. I can see the Pistons 4 putting on a defensive clinic for a new spin on the event.
