There's not much you can do other than what I said. Keep in mind that he's not mad at you. He's just a tough one to cheer up. When he gets down he's the only one who can control when and how he gets back up. Give him time to clear out his head and if he doesn't want to talk by tomorrow it's probably better that he just sits out a round of baskets. By then he should be in the clear.

I wish the answer could be more appealing but if it was I would be lying.

I wouldn't say zero chance for taking off a round of baskets but I would be with you on a play that said he was playing tomorrow. With that being said, he takes losing harder than anyone I know. It's not just with betting, it's with anything in general. He will go through his rounds of not wanting to talk to anyone and it stinks but sometimes no matter how hard you try there will be nothing you can do about it.

I know you aren't used to this but keep your head up and don't sweat it.

Very true. That's what makes it so hard for him to find a lady. Personally girls who smoke are automatic disqualifications for me but I def wouldn't mind dating a lady who wants to throw back a few. Just as long as she's not a raging alcoholic.

I would highly recommend getting your own tv even if it's a small one. Knowing from experience even if it's your best bud sometimes you need to do things by yourself.

im by myself a lot as is. i love the guy, its just awful seeing him all stressed over shit that he cant control and stay upset for so long. not much i can do, i am fine walking around the street and hanging out in my room.
