    Default blackjack question

When playing blackjack online, is it accurate to assume that the first card dealt in a hand is the same card that would have been the next card in the previous hand?
    thanks

you can't assume anything online. if they don't disclose their algorithm, you don't really know how the random cards are generatated.

It's accurate to assume that you're gonna lose money.

i think one thing you can assume is that if you flat bet 1000 times with optimal startegy, your win percentage will be about 47%

I only play in real casinos...

I've tried betting craps, then betting with the house...it just changes no matter what you do...

    Cards is the same way...

that wouldn't be too bad since 5% of the time you get BJ, and paid at 3-2.

To OP: assume a shuffle after every hand.

    game rigged is certainly possible.

I think I played once on Party. They gave me a $10 freeplay or something. First 6 hands were BJs for the dealer. Busted me. Haven't played a hand since, and neither should you!

I am the OP. Thanks for the replies.

Regarding whether to play: for me, it is entertainment. I sit in front of the TV and sometimes play blackjack for $1 per hand. Not to make money, just some fun and diversion.

I have long said when Playing BlackJack online you have to make unorthodox plays. Sometimes you need to play 2-3 hands. You need to stick with 15 or 16 sometimes against a 10 when your on a bad run. You need to mix it up to throw off the algorithym. I play 2 hands 3x in a row drop to 1 hand and then 3 hands. If the dealer busts on a 3 hand for me i play 3 again right away. This might be hard to understand but you can't play basic you will get killed.
