Default Somebody please find something for these people to do!

Seriously. Freakin' idiots - how about addressing the female battering, DUIs and other crap in the NFL?

For Commissioner Roger Goodell and his competition committee the biggest threat on the horizon for the NFL is hair. League officials are contemplating implementing a rule that would ban a player from wearing hair long enough on the field to obscure the names on the back of the jersey.

I do have to say....it's kinda confusing for those of us that don't have the numbers memorized when dudes have hair covering their names. And what if somsone goes to tackle them and get's a mouthful of dreadlock? Yucka.

This is just stupid. Why does the NFL have to always control every little facet of the game to the point where there isn't any fun in playing for the players. I liked the rule as it is. The hair is part of the uniform and fair game for using when tackling.

    I didn't know that!

Well then...Troy can keep his handle--I mean, hair.

Who was that had a turnover called back cause his hair touched out of bounds?

As long it is called that way and no one whines like a little girl when they get pulled down by their hair, then I don't have a problem with it.

If I were an NFL player I purposely would have my hair cut so I couldn't be yanked down by the hair. Goodall seems to have been a solid commish so far imo but this would be going too far.

On a side note, I think the Yanks need to get rid of the required pretty boy look that management makes their players have. It's the one thing that makes me cringe a little when watching them.

There are many things that make me cringe while watching the Yanks....many many things. Jeter isn't one of them. Is he even still playing? How old is that guy?

Just put their names on the ass of their pants and let them grow their hair as long as they want. After a few receivers get yanked down by their "pony-tail", they may change the hair length on their own.

Hahah, well I don't know if Jeter could grow facial hair. Imo he's still a top 3 SS in mlb.
