Yes, freddy sanchez has recieved MVP votes before, but never any first or second place votes. Cabrera has neer recieved a single first or 2nd place vote and has never finished higher than 5th. As for Ryan Braun, he recieved one more MVP vote last year than Carol Marmol and 1 less than Aaron Rowand.
