Would you win more if SBR disappeared tomorrow?
Would you win more if SBR, RX, EOG etc, all disappeared tomorrow?
A simple yes/no will suffice, but I'm interested to hear any and all comments.
My answer is YES... I appreciate the generic answer of "there are so many knowledgeable guys here!", but let's be real. Nobody really divulges anything new or worthwhile, even in Think Tank. The others flocked to are generally those with winning records over the course of a season, which are again relatively meaningless..
Let's accept the forum for what it is, entertainment. With some very generic, basic crap to be learned about handicapping and the industry. The rest is up to you.

No way...Today I went to Ncaa and NBA forums with really no time to cap anything... Followed some guys plays who are regular winners...faded some "Lock of the day" plays and went 5-1.....Was I lucky? Probably a little..Do I ever want to rely on this kind of system...no, but Ive spent the time to know who offers regular solid picks and I dont overthink a good cappers picks...Sometimes going blind on someone elses card when you are in a slump can be priceless...If I see two solid guys against each other Ill stay away...If I see 2 or 3 solid guys on same play Ill usually take it...Not a bad system...Saves a lot compared to the guys paying for service picks...I dont reccomend this style and I think my knowlege of the teams (limited) helped tonite in making quick picks, but it doesnt hurt...

No. Carzyl I seem to do about the same as i did before i found sbr but I've have learned a few things just not enough to make more money yet and i do enjoy reading others opinions weather i agree with them or not. I guess that would be the entertainment factor.

No. SBR Lines save me a lot of time (one-stop shopping). Also, SBR has gone to bat for me in the past and recovered funds I thought I'd never see again. If all the Forums went under, particularly SBR, we would have zero leverage with the Books.

No.
But I don't understand your answer, crazy. You state that the forum does not provide anything new, but answered "yes" that you'd make more money without it. How is SBR negatively impacting your earnings?

No, I've gleaned much knowledge from various posters here over time, as I'm sure we all have. Also without this forum I would have never found Ganchrow's tools.
But as for future members, they would be less likely to make a successful withdrawal without SBR. If SBR saves just one person from a site like sportsbook.com, they've done a good deed.

guys like hh have shared things with me i wasn't real familiar with, guys like lt provide winners daily, and guys like mc win in sports i know nothing about like tennis; dmmd in soccer. sbr lines has helped me shop a bit also.
not sure how this place could lose someone money, but not everyone is particularly bright.

I think that I wouldn't make as much money if SBR left. I like to see other opinions on games that I might be investing in. Also I've really stepped up my handicaping of the Stock market because of this site and this fall when I start investing in football again, I expect the same improvement.

I would not win or lose more money as far as handicapping the games. However, I honestly believe I would have never developed my style of handicapping or money management without studying the many numerous threads about handicapping.
Also, I feel better about my future knowing SBR is backing me if I run into problems. This alone makes what I do an enjoyable and profitable adventure.
