Post Sports pager?

I guess with the betpoints I have bookmaker is offering not only a 100 freeplay but a free sports pager as well, which sounds cool. Those of you that have a bookmaker sports pager is it a fun toy that usually gets service or is just a piece of junk?

Im interested to hear about this as well. Also, how about those ebay pagers that are one time pay things?

Apparently this bookmaker sports pager comes with free monthly service is what I understand. Anyone have any details about this? It sounds pretty cool if I can check scores while I'm at the golf course or out somewhere.

The scores are usually 5 min or so behind real time but it doesn't matter as long as I can follow along with it I guess. Also has updated lines and openers which is Ok.

Damn sounds pretty sweet and it comes with free service? I am not sure whether or not bigboydan is referring to the bookmaker sports pager but I hope he is. Anyway, if you play on bookmaker it only takes 8000 betpoints for a free sports pager and 100 freeplay so basically if you're a degenerate like the rest of us you'll have your pager in bout a week. I was also checking out eBay pagers where the prices have a big range some used ones appear to be going for 10-20 bucks but the new ones all seem around 60 bucks, so a relatively good deal by bookmaker if there are no usage fees attached to it.

I believe you need to keep your account active in order for them to pay the monthly service. So check into that before doing anything.

Surely some of my fellow bookmaker players have taken advantage of this offer as essentially you are getting a 100 freeplay (worth around 50 bucks) and a pager (worth 50+ dollars) for 8000 betpoints, it really is a fair deal. Can someone who actually has a bookmaker sports pager let us know how it works cause there are some sports pagers on eBay which claim "No Fees Ever" and I'm curious if that's the BM sports pager deal or not.

Being a degenerate and risking my savings on teenagers shooting a rubber ball has finally paid off!

All you gotta do is play at lest 1 or 2 bets per week...They don't charge you for the pager service...

Alright sounds good, thanks for the help. I figured it was a couple bet a month req. to keep the service on, but wasn't sure.

I have one that I got from a site where I haven't had a funded account for at least 12 months and the pager still works. But I still dont use it. Its data is slow and my cellphone has much faster and better sports data these days. These sports pagers are simply outdated.

Hmm, well I understand what you're saying but since it's free there's no harm in trying it out. My phone doesn't get scores anymore as I'm on a friends cell phone plan and I believe it charges like a fee for internet access (not sure though) but didn't want to risk it as 20/mo. is a pretty could deal, I prolly could get internet for an extra 10 bucks or something but I guess I'm just a cheapskate b/c I am always at home except when playing golf and shit and more or less don't need it.

Default alternative cheap method

there aren't very many around anymore, but if you can find a pager shop or a place where they program pagers, you can give them the information here:
http://groups.google.com/group/tnn.c...6dbe8040570ac#

FLEX 929.5875
TheSportsPage - 2020115-2020129

The SportsNOW one isn't good anymore, but you can get the exact same pager from thesportspage.com with the 2nd range of capcodes.

You'll have a pager that people pay $50 a month for, for the small cost of programming.
