    Yep... Hard to believe right?

I really think they're weak... I know that most people think otherwise, but I'm just calling it like I see it. I think that Tampa Bay is the team to beat in the East this year .

They would have been even better if they could've found a way to keep Delmon Young (that guy can hit).

Blue Jays stay injury free and Burnett pulls his head out of his ass they may be a force to reckon with.

Always love the knee-jerk reactions one game into a major league season. Keep 'em coming, boys. I can always use a good laugh or two.

Yeah there is 161 games left. Boston doesn't suck. Oakland probably does.

I look at that Yankee starting rotation and I shudder. If Rivera breaks down they are in trouble too. They gotta implode one of these years. Toronto 2nd place, possible wildcard. Yankees=85 wins and out of the playoffs, 3rd place.

    Take it to the bank.

Rotation should be better than last year. Joba can close if Rivera goes down.

what do i do with this information when i arrive at the bank? ive already printed out your post; awaiting further instruction.

    Hahaha. Smartass. LOL

Joba Chamberlain=overrated because he wears a Yankee uniform.

That starting rotation is sick... Price, Shields, Kazmir (once he gets off the DL), and Garza. Your could bring Jackson out as a middle reliever (just gotta keep his confidence up) and Reyes as your closer (he doesn't have the greatest stuff, but he's all heart and usually gets the job done).

Then for power you have Upton and Crawford (arguably two of the best young hitters in the league).

I don't think their spring training success is a fluke. Tampa Bay's coming out strong this year.

well his 0.38 era was decent last year in a yanks jersey, you now have me wondering what it may have been had he been wearing a different garment. I figured the 12 hits allowed and 34ks were impressive, now i find out he was cheating. i won't lie, this news does not surprise me.

My Os will likely win the division anyway.

You gonna put Joba in Cooperstown based on a half season Mofome?
You are an Orioles fan? My condolences. Seriously. I would like to see them doing well, much more so than the Yucks or the Sux.

huh, im a bit confused. The first pitcher you listed is out 6 weeks and will be in single A once he returns. Doesn't seem 'sick', unless you are using the term to mean something other than what ive gone and assumed.

You then reference power and list upton and crawford instead of their only true power hitter, Pena. I hope baseball is not your best sport for handicapping.

Suggesting that he could close, and putting him in Cooperstown, are slightly different, no?

thank you for your sympathy regarding my Os. We'll be awful for a long time. We have some decent youth, but not enough to get all that excited about. I like boston about as much as i do chode herpes and i like yanks slightly less. Its going to be another long season.

David Price isn't coming-up right away? I know that Kaz is hurt. Pena is another power-hitter (no doubt about it). I couldn't remember all the players off the top of my head, but I still like Tampa Bay this year (assuming that they can remain somewhat resistant against the injury bug).

As far as my capping goes: I turned 38K last year with my baseball picks (hands down my best sport to bet on). And for the record - "that was an off year."

I'd like to know how much you made last year off of baseball? You seem to be pretty knowledgeable?

Jeff Niemann will get the call to pitch this year long before David Price, barring injury to Niemann. What kind of futures odds did you get on the Rays, willyback?

Willie Bee, Today's win should really motivate these guys... The Sox should pull away from the Yankees... Now is the time to get a lead and put em away

Price will start in single A when he's healthy, but thats about 6 weeks away. Frustrating for he and the rays to say the least.

TB should be much improved and i wouldn't be all that surprised if they pass the blue jays, but sometimes i like to debate for the sake of conversation.

Ive never really bet all that much money per game. I moved home to be with my mother, who was sick, and I never really gambled for much more than entertainment. Now im in Texas and i don't assume I'll do much gambling here either, the bills come first and there isn't much money to go around from there. If i can get off to a decent start, perhaps i'll be able to turn a bit of a profit, but thats not an income i'll be counting on this season. Fortunately, ncaab and ncaaf were good to me and i'll have a bit to start the season with. i look forward to seeing your plays. you dont need to know a teams roster to make money, thats for sure. bol to you.

I'm thinking about taking Tampa Bay at +1400. The safe bet would probably be the Yanks at +110. Toronto looks good (pitching wise), but their hitting is still highly questionable.

If you're thinking about that price to win the AL East, then keep thinking...and keep shopping since much better prices are out there on that particular futures wager.

Same to you. It's time to get paid. I use the baseball season to supplement my regular income. I'm hoping for an early retirement (one day soon). I look forward to seeing your picks as well. It's going to be a good season.
