    Question Which Multi to Go?

i'm definitely a rookie trying to find some extra money (income) thru sports betting...and the dilemma of "straight bet vs parlay" is killing me...

i'm looking at a bookie that offers multi type betting. they have explanation here.

any thoughts what's the "best" or "optimal" way to go? i know it's a vague question but would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

thanks a lot. appreciate all the help.

    cheers!

I try to avoid parlays. I do play some 2 teamers occasionally. Mostly I bet straight. Teasers can be good. ML parlays are fine too.

I'd go with straight plays mostly. If u are doing a parlay take a ml dog so u get a nice payout if you hit it.

Do small straight bets until you get more experienced at handicapping...it doesn't do any good to even do Round Robin parlays if you cannot hit a decent percent of your plays. Track your plays for a couple months and see where you stand.

thanks for all the replies so far...lately, i'm having a bad run on my parlays...normally i have 2 series of 2-team parlays...i normally get 1 pick correct on each parlay...so it's the pairing that's killing me...

That is where straight bets come into play...parlays are good plays if you feel you have a good edge on all the plays. Hitting 50% of parlays gives you a 100% loss of your money risked while hitting 50% on straight bets you only lose the juice.
