Agree with you on that one RJT. Everyone talks about the big trade involving Iverson. They talk about Philly and how they'll be making the playoffs and comparing them to the Nuggets and how they might miss the playoffs. It's not even a comparison. The Nuggets play in the better conference by far, and it's not even close. There is such a disparity in the level of competition.

I agree that over the course of the season the Sixers don't compare to the better teams but over the last 2-3 months they are up there with anybody regardless of conference. In 2008 Philly has beaten Houston, Denver, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix, Detroit, Orlando, and Boston tonight. They aren't just padding the win total by beating up on the East, they've been beating everyone. Who knows whether this will translate into playoff success but the future is looking bright.

Still sports its not easy like that..even though a league standard is worse than another, you still finding teams beating presumable better teams. Im talking in others sports than NBA as well. By the way, Sixers already beaten Houston twice..they have beaten Magics..this month, they have beaten Phoenix, Boston, Detroit, San Antonio, Denver..so they cant be that bad..

Keep on drinking the kool aid JJ. Where has Andre Miller won anything? Andre Miller is nothing more then a above average point guard. Where was Denver when he was there? This team is a fraud but the good ole NBA wants to help them win. Beat Boston the other night shooting 44 foul shots to 20. When you ever see a visitor take this many more foul shots? The quest to slam Iverson here since the beginning of the year has been comical. Even heard one guy yesterday say this might go down as the greatest trade in Sixers history LMFAO. This team loses by thirty one night then wins the next. After they are one and done this year i bet they don't even win the same amount of games next year. Lets see Miller put these stiffs on his back and get them to the finals like Iverson did. Iverson even leads him in assist this year. Iverson is getting all the blame in Denver when nobody plays defense. Amazing when sports writers and ESPN say what they want and people by it.

Regardless of how much weaker the East is philly was in the gutter a year ago.The atlantic has also gotten more competitive and AI left also.Great job by the Sixers and Andre Miller who IMO is one of the most under-rated players in the league.
I would like to see them make the playoffs and go past the 1st round.

Larry Brown coached to and he destroyed this team with bad draft after bad draft. the reason they are improving is because they got rid of him. JJ you are one of those bettors who watches sports center and then runs with what they say or you make your opinion up by watching one game. You see USC win one game impressively and you hear the word Mayo and all the sudden they are gonna win the championship. I can see it in all your serious post. Andre Miller was on Denver and they didn't go anywhere. Iverson doesn't even play point half of the time and he still has more assist then Miller. A ball hog lol. Sure that is what the talking heads say on ESPN. IN philly Iverson always started off the game passing and then when they were down by 20 said fuk it and took over. He still ball hogs in spots but that is crazy to think this is why Denver is not playing up to their potential. They refuse to play defense and have a terrible coach who should have been fired two years ago. They turned down an offer to get Artest for Najera and Kleeza. Why would you turn down a steal like that? I guess the no defense coaching coach didn't like the way Artest plays defense. That trade would have put them up with the elite.
