Lightbulb Fantasy Baseball Experts - Sleeper Help?!

    Beside the obvious like...

    C. Gomez
    Maybin
    Soto
    Votto
    J.Upton

What young/prospect/sleepers should I look to get a bargain price in my keeper auction league.

Out of the 11 teams in the league I am going into the draft with the most to spend. We are allowed 260 spending money and I have only spent 59 on 10 keepers, including adding an additional year to Dice-K. That leaves me with 201 to spend on 13 more starters.

Most other teams have spent between 110-140 on anywhere between 11-14 keepers going into the autction.

I will spend a lot on Miggy, Teixeira, Victor Martinez, and Peavy...All of their contracts expired after last season and therefore are back in the free agent pool. I am also planning on spending some on Berkman. I had Berkman last season but did not want to retain him at the 40 I spend on him in last seasons draft.

My roster (and contract) going in to the auction is:

    B. Roberts (10)
    Theriot (5)
    Griffey (5)
    Hamilton (4)
    Victorino (8)
    Hawpe (6)

    Dice-K (9)
    Francis (5)
    Pedro (4)
    Garza (3)

We start 23 players. So I have 201 to spend on 13 more.

So give me some sleepers that I can spend $1-$4 on late in the auction!

    Thanx in advance!

Prior is healthy and starting in minor leagues for San Diego but they said he should not be down there long and if you can get him in the later rounds it would be a great pick.

    Deeper please

For example......guys like Hughes, Pie, Braun were all drafted before LAST season and retained pretty cheap.

Gordon, D. Young, BJ Upton, Hanley, Verlander were all drafted beore the 2006 season.

Its a real deep and strong league.

Wladimir Balentien - OF - Seattle Mariners Free Agent Monday Mar. 24, 2008
Mariners optioned OF Wladimir Balentien and C Rob Johnson to Triple-A Tacoma; reassigned LHP Jake Woods to minor league camp.
The Mariners threatened to keep Balentien as a bench player, but that never made any sense. He could be called up to play regularly if Brad Wilkerson or Raul Ibanez gets hurt. Mar. 24 - 3:41 pm et
