anything involving teams? 3 cappers make up a team, you get 3 a max of 3 picks a day, you have a minimum per month and so on. could be tourney style, could be just adding up the month, could be whatever everyone wants. we have some ideas, but what would everyone like to see. we're going to kick some things off and give away prizes.

I think more people would play if it was kind of a do it yourself style. I would say that the most $ should be given away in that fashion, similar to a BTP style. The teams are an interesting idea but it's much more convenient to be antisocial and not bother with anyone else, if something like that is done make it for smaller amounts than the main contests.

it should be a fun season, we want to create ideas that have people wanting to participate, wanting to win, and something that creates some discussion. discussing games is a reason for the team idea. no concern with how difficult it may be to grade, i'll take care of that, we just want to have whatever is the most fun to get us from hoops to football season.

Any and all, but teams seems like a strange and not good idea.

How about though, at the end of the baseball season, the one top winner gets some kind of bracelet-type thing like in poker. Doesn't have to be a bracelet, but something like it, with some kind of official sbr stamp of authenticity or whatever.

I love the bracelet concept in the WSOP, it would be cool if there were similar status stuff for handicapping.

I found nothing wrong with last year's monthly contest, except for the 30-play max. I say let's do the same thing with no monthly max, just a max of 3 plays per day.

we'll have a max per day and a minimum. we'll also be awarding each months highest and lowest finishers. that way you're not out of it if someone goes crazy for a month and you can try and tank it for a prize.
