If these gals are separate entities - and I think they most likely are - I also suspect that one of them is a paid poster (do you know your "co-workers," Coach?)
Obviously, to have attrative women on such a male-dominated board is going to be a draw.
There's more to SBR than meets the eye. Hope these shenanigans don't mess them up when it comes to rating books. That is their main raison d'existence.
At least for me, having lost over a nickel in the BoS meltdown.

Dogs become a part of your family -not "just a dog."
That was the case with one I had as a kid, he died at about 13. Part of the family, tho we didn't do that "pet cemetary" nonsense

And sometimes, people love their pets. And it breaks their heart when their pet dies. It isn't a difficult concept to grasp. No one asked what you thought about it. You just accept the answer and try to show some niceness, even if all you can is not say anything.
