Dice-K's probably going to stand "extra tall" in his native land. The Japanese culture is all about honor and pride. I don't see Dice-K losing to Oakland on his home turf. If anybody blows that game for Boston, it'll be the bullpen.

The public will be on Boston in this one.

Not sure I'd play such a big favorite this early in the season. Actually I'm pretty sure I won't. Maybe Oakland +1.5.

Under 9.5.

Boston's offense not nearly as effective away from Fenway. Blanton has solid numbers against the BoSox in 5 career starts (2-1, 3.58, 1.35, .260), although Manny and Ortiz have both hit him well. You never know what to expect from Daisuke, but you'd struggle to find a weaker offense than OAK's in the AL.

Does anyone know the ballpark dimensions for the Tokyo Dome?

The public's not wrong all of time. I'm not going to touch the game (personally). Way to early to start placing bets (that you actually intend to win).

Oakland could pull it off... if spring training numbers mean anything. I just think that Dice-K's going to be too sharp. Good luck to those who bet opening day.

looks like a little value to oakland @ +136 but im staying away here not enough diff in pitcher sequence,without even looking at whip,ect,ect
