Default Calling it now, O.J Mayo will be a bust in the NBA.

Especially in his first two seasons. Absolutely not ready for the NBA right now. Don't see him creating his own shot with success when he goes to the next level.

Also think he will be a turnover machine, if he is averaging almost 4 turnovers a game now, imagine in the NBA?

Taller guards in the NBA too, he will have a lot of guys 2-3 inches taller than him guarding him.

    What do you guys think?

absolutely agree... Bust for sure. Much more talented guards coming into the draft this year. Gordon from Indiana even though he played terrible in March Madness is the top guard in the nation

Gordon is not even close to nba, he would be lucky to make a roster

Also he is not tough enough , nba is all animals

mayo might never play in nba, he is that bad

doesn't matter, NBA drafts talent, not players ready to play now...

That's part of why the league sucks... They need to do the NFL rule of 3 years of college...

Sounds a bit like Eric Gordon. I thought Gordon looked like the best player in the country to start the season. He finished the year doing more harm to his team than good with the same turnover problem that Mayo has.

    Agree with OP.

And yeah, Beasley is the only frosh who's "ready."

NBA should soon go to "two years away from HS", like NFL
